Rodney just up his game. He knows exactly what we want to see. He first showed us the forest in his pants and now, he shows us his cracks. Will we get to see his python next?
Hey! Wasn't Jake fired after that "Probably down" comment? Glad to know there are actually documented plans for these builds. Even though Rodney always seems to expand the scope of work mid project.
Okay, first question: What state do you live in? Do you get enough rain water? Second question: This rain water. What will you use it for? Drinking or something else? Isn't rain water more dangerous today than a few decades ago? Let me know. BTW, love handy videos like this. Just started watching DYI videos here on UA-cam. I guess that's how I happened upon your channel.
Thank you for following along! 1) Texas 2) not year round, so collecting the water helps in the really dry months. 3) we use it for watering plants & yes any natural water does require lots and lots of filtering if you choose to use it that way. Hope this helps!
It is as we can often got 3-4 months without rain in the dry season coupled with the 110° temps - it can be brutal on the plants and to not drain our drink water reservoirs, rain tanks are best way to combat that and keep the plants healthy! This tank is about 1,200gallons. We also have a small 50gal as well!
@@rodneyandjake Ok, I actually looked it up for my area specifically, and the good news is that it's now ok to collect it from any rooftops for use on the immediate property, but you need permits if the collection system gets to be over a certain size.

Thank you for following along ✨🫶
Rodney is being very cheeky lately . . . . . .
Nice work gentlemen!! 👏🏾 ❤😊
Thank you 🙌
I am also putting in a water barel to collect water, raising it up is a great idea thank you guys so much.
That is great! Raising it helps the water pressure so you can water further from the tank itself! ✨

Is a rain tank common in TX? We have rain barrels that might be 50 gallons. How many gallons is the tank?

I wish I was allowed to collect rainwater where I live.
You aren’t *allowed* to collect rain water? what do you mean?? That is wild!! I am sorry to hear some rule applies that hates the environment!!! 😱

Is it for drinking water or for plants ?
This is for plants as it is unfiltered. In the future we would love to run this through some filters, but for now just for the plant babies! 🌱
Rodney, need more bush. Be loose and comfortable while you work.
0:57 love this part where we can see your partner’s GORGEOUS belly. Love seeing more of him 😍
