Your review was helpful because it wasn't just aimed at solar power nerds. I had no idea what AC power was or 9 volt, etc. It's a vocabulary I don't understand. But you actually showed what they do and explained it in a more down-to-earth manner. Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback! I was trying to explain things understandably so I'm glad to hear that came through.

I love when you can charge a device via usb c. Even if only 60 watts.

It’s nice having the option for sure

I got this about a month ago. I had a giggle when I looked at the warranty card - no address - no phone number - no contact info - nothing, and no name or info on the product nor on anything on or in the box. Still it was a great price.

How long can I run a 42" TV? I have flood lights that can hold me over during a power outage but looking for something to run entertainment.

A typical 42" LED TV ~85watts power draw would last 5 hours +/- 30 minutes

    is it really 595 Wh?,
Is the 12 V cigarette car outlet regulated ?
how good of a inverter is in this unit , how efficient? etc.
By your presentation of this unit we don't know much about it performance, etc.

Hi Leslaw, these are good questions. The manual lists the 12v outlet as being rated at 12 volts and 10 amps of current, but doesn't specify if it is regulated. Efficiency specs aren't listed for the inverter. I'll see if I can find more info for you and do a rundown test to see if I can get a full 595Wh out of it.

@@reallyMello I recall HOBOTECH stating something about lithium iron phosphate batterries not needing a regulated 12v outlet.

The 12v outlet is not regulated and the inverter efficiency is about 88%. I still need to try a full runtime test. Hope that helps!

The efficiency is not 88%. I've done several tests on it they leave several things outside of their instruction manual I have no idea what they used to test the MAH most likely a single cell 3.7v. I haven't even gotten 400 wh and I've run capacity tests with the DC load tester on on almost every DC port on that machine.

What size is the port where you plug in a solar panel

    • @reallyMello
      @reallyMello  3 роки тому +1

It uses a DC7909 connector which are usually defined as 7.9mm inner diameter 0.9mm with needle. I have an affiliate link for an MC4 (normal solar connector) to DC7909 plug if you want to check that out too.

Thanks for the help. Still a little split on this or the bluetti. I don’t need 2 100w pd, 1 60w should be fine. I don’t need the wireless phone charger.
Bluetti seems to charger faster with solar. However the Baldr 120w folding panels have a USB c out put. So with connect one panel in to USB c and one into the 8mm you could catch up to the Bluetti solar charge speed

Show the part where it takes more power to run the inverter fan while it's charging to actually charge with a solar panel 😂. This thing is trash, get a bluetti or something instead

How about a little *constructive* criticism then and make some recommendations about what other sorts of tests you would have like to see him perform on it?
