Nice rig mate! I have a 07 FJ and enjoy exploring the desert and old ghost towns. We have a lot of similar gear. Thanks for taking the time out and making a great informative video.
Hey Boss, thank you for the info on the GEAR seat covers. I ordered some and got them quick 'n the mail. I am loving them!!:) Your video was very helpful to us people that are always looking to better and improve... Thank you!
Nice video! I'm a Nissan Xterra fan; I own one in Africa. I was looking at your video to see if the FJ provides more camping space than the Xterra, but from the look - Xterra provides more space than the FJ. Your video is very educating. Thx
s Kpeh Hi s kpeh yes there isn't a lot of room for camping stuff in the fj you right ,thanks for looking at the video ,i want to make a new video as now i have tested some of the gear in the field .
If you live in Africa, why not get an Land Cruiser 70 series troop carrier? That will give you a ton of space. They're so good, in fact, that they don't let us have them in the U.S.
It's very helpful n lets me see wat is possible .. I like everything use done with ur FJ it is amazing .. Buy a bigger gas tank from Australia .. Thank you once again
Great video and review. I have a 2005 Ford Explore SUV but I've been wanting to replace it and thanks to your review the F J Cruiser is the one for me. I also subbed to your channel :) Cheers from Canada
Hi R Doe The side and back pullout covers are from IRONMAN i also have the sides to go on the covers to make a room !! they came from djebel line hope this helps !!
I enjoyed your video a lot, and yes, it does help. Trying to come up with my own setup by looking at what everyone else has done, makes it easier to avoid mistakes. I love your rear shelf set up ? Did you make it ?
Can you please show us your second battery set up? The spare battery tray on the left of my 2012 engine bay is limited due to the power steering fluid reservoir.
Where are you, SoCal? I have an FJ but no after market upgrades as yet. Is the tent and awning all one piece or bought separately? Like the Kelly Kettle; I have an MKettle from the UK. Have you looked at the SilverFire products. Best I've seen of their type; worth a look.
Hi David i am in the south of france the video is in spain .the roof tent is one and the awning another one the awning is ironman very good . thanks for silverfire info

where exactly did you locate your second battery up front and about what size was it? I have a 2012 and haven't really found a good spot for a second battery, at least not the same size as the OEM.
Saw this video about 10 years ago. Though about it for years, maybe the first overlanding video I've seen. Great to see it again.

+evilassaultweaponeer The Land Cruise 70 is in another class, and I'm not sure if they still make them any more. it's a nice off road SUV. Thanks
It can have plenty of storage space. It's all about maximizing space. And a matter of taking what you truly need.
