My thoughts: Removable batteries might create massive e-waste if the phone works well for a long time (if the waste is disposed of or recycled in a proper manner, then it's okay). This can be a great method to dispose of the e-waste in a proper manner, like when the sellers should sell the new original batteries after getting the old batteries from the customers (where sellers should dispose of the old batteries properly). Removable batteries may also cause more duplicates to roam in the market. Both will have advantages and disadvantages. As time and technology go on, it will improve. Hoping for the bests.

Nope removable batteries will reduce eWaste. Just think like this, In one year if your phn batteries is going to dead (if it's removable battery) then your able to switch only ur battery. Or else if it's non removable battery then we will switch to new phone. Now the total phone is an eWaste now. It will generate 3 to 4 time high eWaste.

I think I will be more efficient if mobile companies can provide easy replaceable batteries rather than fully openable anytime. Something like batteries in wrist watches. It is water proof and batteries can be replaced in any stores at a cheaper rate and if possible we can easily buy batteries from stores and replace ourselves. And provide a feature to turn off and on Fast Charging on command like a toggle switch.

I love fully packed phones more than removable battery types
I have changed my Samsung flagship models after 4 or 5 years, only because battery issue. Till now i have Galaxy S7 mobile. But i'm getting duplicate battery which can last for 3 to 6 months only. Original battery not available in the market. This strategy is simply to sell new models. I agree with you.
To avoid the issue of slowness after some years, should not update the OS. So that the current hardware will support older version of OS without performance issue.

i have Samsung A52s. It's been 2 years since launch and 1 year since i bought. After 1 year , the battery health is 90%. BUTT I get significantly better battery life when compared to when i bought it still retaining performance. Maybe Samsung properly optimized it with monthly update.

I don't have information about other brand but I use VIVO X70 Pro. It's a 50k phone and the battery costs about 1500 including 299 replacement service charge. I guess this is still okay comparing the display change costs 15k +.. And this brand including IQOO the cleaning charges are free of cost. Yearly cleaning of the phone for the speaker grill is good also please change the battery atleast once in two years is a good thing. If the battery gets bulged then in would certainly affect the internal components.
