I really love this song and the story that you tell with it. I will say that I am actually very sad that you changed "baby I'll treat you right" to just repeating "someone you like" I know that's the title of the song, but baby I'll treat you right has a more endearing factor to it that I feel this studio version kinda kick out. I still love this song, though, and I love playing it on ukulele myself. You guys are doing great and I am very proud of you both. Keep doing what you're doing and I will be behind always supporting you in music and in your acting career. Love you both and appreciate you're hard work.
I think they changed it because, even if they want to treat eachother right, the main message of the song is that they're gonna mess up with eachother. They won't be perfect in this relationship. But they will try ("we've got a lot to learn" shows they're willing to learn) and they will love eachother.
