(The saying I always go to is the one that’s something along the lines of, “If you’re [man/adult/bad/big/whatever applicable to situation] enough to do it, then you’re [same word] enough to deal with the consequences of it. And if you CAN’T handle facing the consequences, then you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place.” OR another one that SOMEWHAT applies to this, but not entirely, is the “if you couldn’t admit to it to [loved ones, or your idols or just whoever important to you], then you shouldn’t even be doing it.”

The point is… Every time you go to make a decision….it’s always a good idea to take a second to think about all the possible outcomes that could come out of it, and consider each possibility. And if there’s even ONE (out of however many) that you wouldn’t be able to handle or accept, then you shouldn’t do it.
I’ve had some people argue with me that sometimes it’s not reasonable to expect people to do, because some decisions are made so quickly and that requires too much thought and blah blah blah….. but like…. We should be thinking about it before making decisions in the first place!!!! So that argument doesn’t make any sense lmao

Caught my ex husband cheating. I couldn’t afford to move out, so I moved to the guest room. Got a small job because I moved out to be with him. Since I moved out of a financial district it was harder to get financial jobs in his area. I had to depend on him while I searched. After I got the new small job. I was leaving the house and returning, minding my own business. James’ comment hit me hard, because it reminded me of the horrific night when the bastard tried to kill himself and the police and I had to search the whole neighborhood to make sure he was not dead. I was scared we’d find his body in a ditch where he’d shot himself. One of the cops brought me back to the house cos it was freezing. Then I heard a noise in the house. It was this fool. He was sitting in the attic, crying that I didn’t love him anymore. He was holding a knife and drinking, all the while we were searching for him. He must have heard me calling the police frantically and screaming at them to hurry. Also when they arrived and were asking me questions about him. What an arse!!!
