Tom Skerit and Robert Wagner are great actors. Most people watching this movie are too young to remember the great the parts they have played. More famous than any of those younger actors. Never heard of most of them.

The actors did played the roles well. But the acts of nature will really happen anywhere and anytime. Unfortunately this is not fiction. Of course the movie is. Tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, and flooding from heavy rain storms happens .Those of us that have lost homes because of storms can't watch these type of movies.
Had already watched parts 1 & 2 before of this movie, and here I sit again watching it....yes, I think it's that good :)
Had no idea Australia's Cameron Dado was such a great actor. In fact, I didn't know he did act. I thoroughly enjoyed this two-part film. It was a top-quality motion picture that had me on edge of my seat and what an ending. Thank you so much for this film.
Cameron Dado has just recently moved back to Australia, after living in the US For years. He and his wife have a lifestyle podcast now.

Excellent story line, casting, and directing. But it's amazing how well the communicaions systems work with all these electrical storms and mass destruction (read mobile phone towers). Great entertainment. One of the best disaster movies I have seen.
Watching this for the second time was just as good as the first time! Great special effects.
Better than I expected, pretty good special effects and good work by the Used To Be All Star Cast.

That was unexpectedly entertaining, I can't believe I sat through the nearly 3 hours of it but it's wasn't horrible, bad guys blowing into eternity was great to see .

I seen 4 tornadoes at one time in Nebraska about 23 years ago and then 2 merged together..wish I had a smart phone back then to record it.
Sadly, seeing noteworthy stuff, it never occurs to me to record it on my phone, 'til after the event. 😂

Good old camera to record the view on the tiny vhs used or memory card? Smartphones have incorporated tools for the recording of videos idea from cameras.

@@soarin64 The camera used VHS-C, and then after recording the video in order to watch it in a VHS player/recorder it was necessary to insert the "tiny" VHS-C inside a specific adapter for standars VHS. I still have one of those cameras plus one that recorded on MiniDV tapes and SD memory cards.
Decent film with reasonable special effects. I especially enjoyed seeing Shannen Doherty and Randy Quaid (I often wondered what happened to him after his Vancouver "star wacker" crazy phase). To see Robert Wagner was a real treat as well. Does Robert ever age? Thanks for posting!

The ending is kind of funny. This movie’s message is about stopping pollution but at the end of the movie it is celebrated with heavy polluting fighter jets flying by. Does anyone see the irony???

@@teanavann8541 a fighter jet is to fight not a celebration tool though it has been used as such. This movie is a message that pollution is hurting the planet so we celebrate by polluting a bit more????

Nice to see someone else noticed the stupid hypocrisy.
People don't worry about planes because they are working on cleaner airplanes. Just like EV is suposed to solve the car pollution. It's all bullshit but it soothes their conscience.
There will always be hypocrisy and irony. A politician; wealthy businessman; celebrities all living in 3000sf plus homes - many owning more than one; riding in a gas guzzling limousine; flying all over the world first class in jets. I and many common stupid folks live in a 1400sf home; drive a gas powered economy car sitting at home watching a movie because I cannot afford to fly coach anywhere. Yet I am the one destroying the world with my 'carbon footprint' and I am expected and demanded to change my lifestyle by giving up everything, and go live in a cave. While they -- the better than us, rich elites -- continue living out their life of luxury. And they wonder why people like me shoot the middle finger to global warming, climate change and carbon footprints. Until I see them - the 'elites' -- lead the way by example, I am not doing a damned thing to 'save' a planet that they continue to destroy. This will never change, so change will never happen.

What a great movie and not too far away
So the red head is going to traverse through the worst hurricane in history with crap flying all over the place and tornados in a little fiat convertible? Like all that stuff flying all over the place won't rip right through the soft top? Like the top would even stay on the car in the first place???? Who was the technical advisor on this film?????
This went from disaster movie to comedy for me when politicians started getting killed by the storm. That alone makes this movie great. That's one way to take out the political trash. 🤣😂

I enjoyed the destruction scenes, and it was light enough to be able to see the details. I just wish they'd have taken out Washington DC before the end! As a fan of disaster movies since the original Godzillas back in the '60s, I really get a kick out of watching things get destroyed.
The bailing wire reference is wild...I haven't seen a bale of hay tied w/ wire for 30 years!🤣 Or are other parts of the country still using it...?

On the "Cheesyness Scale"; this movie is about a 6 out of 10; but thank God for Randy Quaid; who really save the whole messy plot of the movie. Quaid and other "movie saving actors" should get paid extra for bailing out a sinking ship.

I love how Cameron D. keeps pronouncing it "mesophere" without the middle "s" - even after a clear shot of the whiteboard with the correct word: "mesosphere," written on it. The director and script person really dropped that ball. Drinking game for every time he says it wrong!

this really was an exciting movie
"God helps those who help themselves" is NOT in the Bible, I've read it from Genesis to Revelation many times. Good action, but lame theory behind the storms because intense heat has been generated by people for hundreds of years. I wondered what happened to actress Shannon Dougherty after Beverly Hills 90210, she's still kinda cute!
God helps people who can't help themselves, may be more like it!
She's 51 yrs old now with stage 4 metastatic cancer/// not doing too well unfortunately.
The heat theory is actually plausible but very exaggerated, also that wasn't the main cause considering even Gina gershons character said what you said yourself, it was the falling tornadic chunks of mesosphere that was triggering the super tornadoes all over the globe that was the culprit.
