Yuki (D_Drive) on guitar, Wakazaemon (Marty Friedman band) on bass, Ayasa (Morfonica) on violin, Mizuki (Lonesome_Blue) on drums and Akane (Predia/Mochi to Cheese) on vocals.
Mochi and Cheese combined members of two acts signed with Platinum Passport. One you know very well :-) but the other was Predia, an idol group. Did mostly pop but a little pop rock as well. Predia lasted from 2010 to 2022. There was turnover and the number of members changed over time. Akane Minato was with the group the entire time. While they just sang and danced we know from Mochi and Cheese that at least some could play instruments. They were started as a sister group to Passpo another idol group that had a airline crew theme. Their concerts were were called "flights" and the concert goers "passengers". Passpo existed 2009-2018. Their 1st song debuted at No.1 on the Oricon charts. So a mad pigeon suggested a maid-cafe theme rock band to her management at Platinum and you know the rest.
I cannot get enough of this band, East of Eden is amazing ear candy for me. I love every facet. I have listened to all 5 tracks on their mini album at least 25 times in the past few days. I cannot stop listening to them. and I get chills often. they are amazing. MORE MORE MORE!!! ♥♥♥♥🔥🔥🔥🔥♥♥♥♥
I think I'm falling in love with Ayasa, I still cannot get over how much I also enjoy Akane's vocals. Mizuki's drumming is outstanding, I am not at all surprised by Waka and Yuki, oy, so much magic here, under-rated by some of the reactors so far IMO. I firmly put East of Eden in top tier, along with Band-Maid, Bridear, NEMOPHILA & LOVEBITES.
Wakazaemon is the bass players name. Been followingh her for about 4 or 5 years. First saw her in a Daisuke Kurasawa video with his band (included Tamu) doing a cover of X Japans Dahlia. Subscribed to her channel and aslo watched her on Marty Friedmans Rock Fujiyama channel and videos of her playing bass on Martys tour. Yes she is such a good bassist. Drives this song along. I have been a big fan of Yuki and D-Drive for a long time now, and good to see her playing with a band with vocals for a change even though I love D_Drive's instrumental approach to music

Mizuki is in, not ex Lonesome Blue, only the guitar player left, and the support guitarist from Mary's Blood (can not remember the name), is currently filling in on guitar.
I seem to remember that the guy who said Yashiro was the support guitar for the tour, also said that they have announced a new EP, or LP, and that they are recording this with Yashiro on guitar, not sure if they are looking for a new permanent guitarist, or if they intend to continue as a 3 piece with a support guitarist.@@hiawatha.g
Although Wakazaemon is still young at 26 years old, she has great playing ability. I wish they would feature more of YUKI's guitar playing solos. I think it's okay to use the violin differently than Jill.
