That plastic hinge broke on me 4 times. I was wondering how they were going to fix it but looks like they didn't. I do like the idea of the magnetic closure but getting a replacement every couple months was annoying. Sadness.
Can I ask how the material feels like when you use the through grip? I’ve used a loopy for years but recently the quality of their loops is going downhill and I want something similar to replace it.
This is nothing like loopy case it feels more like pop socket but more comfortable. Loopy case that I remember has a silicone band that has a little stretch. This is a more rigid plastic. You can stick your finger through the hinges to have a more secure loopy like hold but it doesn’t feel like loopy case because there isn’t the stretch you get. But unlike loopy case this doesn’t block wireless charging. Plus the aluminum feel of the ring that sticks to your phone does feel nice and premium.
my adhesive stopped working and it would keep falling off the back of my phone. I tried washing it reapplying it, it would keep falling off. so I ended up peeling off their original adhesive, talking to customer service department and they sent me a replacement adhesive for the luxe 4. I applied it, it worked for 2 days, same stuff started happening so I applied super glue last night. I like the grip, I like the way it feels. I like how low profile it is, I do not like how it keeps disconnecting from the back of the phone because the adhesive sucks. and it wasn't just the first adhesive. It was also the replacement they sent. so here's to super glue... (adhesion was so bad it would fall off in the car while on the magnet stand. and no, I'm not using any material that they have listed as incompatible with their adhesive. they just have shitty adhesive)
I want to like this grip so much but I’ve been trying it out for a month and my wrists are just constantly aching. I love the thinness but it’s hard to get a secure grip without constant grip/tension. Idk, I’m unfortunately going to end up going back to my popsocket
Have you tried sticking your finger through the hinge? It’s not my preferred way but it would stop you from having it have tension on it. For me the standard hold is very comfortable.
I’ve only had mine for a few days and my only and main issue is the OhSnap not sticking to the DBrand ghost phone case. It’s fine until i try to remove the phone and the OhSnap from a MagSafe mount and the phone detaches from the OhSnap. That never happened with the OhSnap 3 pro. I’ve been in touch with customer service any we’ve been playing email tag. Now that it’s been detaching some times, the sticky part is getting dirty and sticking even less. Ugh
If you want a thinner mount that is also magnetic then go with the ohsnap luxe of you don’t care about thinness and don’t mind removing the pop socket for wireless charging then go for that. I like both mounts and they are pretty much the same price.
I currently use the Snap 3 Pro and one issue that really bothers me is whenever i use it with a MagSafe charger or mount, when i remove the phone the Snap grip ALWAYS stays on the charger/mount. Does the Snap 4 Luxe have the same issue?
hi to answer your question, both grips come with adhesive to make sure this doesn't happen. is you apply the adhesive, the ohsnap will stay on the phone every time. Both of them will come off if you do not apply the adhesive. Hope this helps.

You need a credit card you stick it in the edge and you twist it up as you work your way around it will pop off. If your adhesive sticks too hard to the case oh snap does sell replacement adhesives to put on your grip.
@@domdon87 depending how far that camera bump sits out it might be too thick to stick to like a fridge or something. But oh snap does sell mounts that would work.
Just honesty for your videos. Rehearse or plan a bit of what you're going to say. A lot of impromptu moments, a bit of a script would help. A lot of "ums". I can see your building the confidence and it will only get better! Keep up the good work.
The only question I really have is do you have to use the adhesive on the back of it to place it onto your case? Or is the magnet in it capable of sticking to the case itself? I'm not sure if that makes any sense. Because I already have the mag safe ring on my phone case and didn't really want to take it off to put the old snap on there but if I have to then it is what it is I guess. MagSafe popsockets have rubber backs to increase friction that allow them to stay in pretty good. This product doesn’t have that plus this product has a very strong magnetic pull on it if you don’t have the adhesive I’m betting it will stay stuck on your charger or the fridge without the adhesive. So unfortunately I think the reusable adhesive is necessary. However because oh snap is the same size as MagSafe any MagSafe accessory will stick to it. So you shouldn’t need to take it off.
I just got mine today. They say you need to stick it with the adhesive; however on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with a MagSafe compatible charger I didn’t have to use the adhesive. I left the label on the back and it holds as firmly or even better than my other magnetic phone grips. So far I really like it. It’s my first OhSnap product. Seems the past models have got mixed reviews but this is a very nice grip. Love that I can charge through it too. And the blue is a perfect match for my blue titanium phone.
No those magnets in the middle are very small and they only work to suck the ohsnap back in place. You have to buy the ohsnap car mount of you want to use it in your car that way. I have one of those in my car and I love the mount it’s very high quality and I have no complaints. But it isn’t cheap.
Yes for sure always take care of the important stuff. They are talking. About releasing cheaper all plastic version of this grip so you might want to wait for that.

I’ll be honest with you it feels a bit thicker and it’s situated differently so I can’t say that it will definitely fix the problem but it might.

Clean the adhesive it’s a reusable adhesive I believe they tell you to clean it with an alcohol pad.

If you want a thinner mount that is also magnetic then go with the ohsnap luxe of you don’t care about thinness and don’t mind removing the pop socket for wireless charging then go for that. I like both mounts and they are pretty much the same price.
What case do you have? I’m having charging issues with every case I’ve purchased.
