In my group of friends, I stupidly 'fallen in love' with one of my friend. One day I braved myself to tell her. Instantly, she was upset with me because she believes I just spoiled our friendship. I felt sad, ashamed and slowly moved away that group of friends with out any more contact. After almost a year, I got a call from her and we met up. Strangely she said she misses me and she asked me if I still love her like before. I said no because my feelings for her has gone, she started tearing up and tells me that my absent makes her realised that I was the guy for her but yet, I couldn't bring my feelings back again. This song reminds me of that experience. It's about a person regretted because of rejecting love.
our story is not similar but somehow i can relate. my first love is my childhood friend. ive been loving him since forever. i got lucky bcoz at the first time my love was requited (this was during high school). but to my fault, i decided for a breakup for study reason and didnt ask him to wait for me. we moved on, he's got replacement one after another. and me still stupidly waiting for him. until one day (this was during college), he became single. he contacted me. saying he knew that i still love him, he said he can see the love sparks in my eyes whenever i met him. he even propose an idea of marriage saying i was the bestest person he met among others. but to my surprise, the very next day, i found out he went back to his ex. long story short, recently we decided to getback since he's already being single for quite some time. we decided for a more mature relay since we're a grown up now. we are both at the age of 25. things were okay in the beginning. but later something's went off. he acts cold with me. everything seems wrong to him. until i mustered my courage to ask him what is the matter, if i did anything wrong. he then said i dont love u anymore. the day he said that to me, is the worst day of my life. being hurt twice by the same person plus a childhood friend. reality hits really hard. i loath myself for letting myself to be hurt, twice. i'm sorry for a really long story. i just wanna share my part.

@@christinemonica thank u very much for ur sweet thought n concern. Im okay now. All thats left is a very deep scar. I hope that this will not be experienced by anybody. A big lesson from this is, love urself before everybody else.
