Problem with Terre D’Hermes is it smells like misery on a lot of guys skin incl mine. That “earthy orange” becomes acrid, bitter, nasty morgue like smell. Never blind buy it as there’s definitely something funky in the formulation

My current favourites are Cedrat Boise from Mancera, Prada Luna Rossa Black and le male le parfum. My Terre d'Hermes bottle is from 2013 and I've tried it on a test strip a few times this week, but I just can't take to it, I'm only 35 so I feel like the scent is just too mature, it smells like the earth on a rainy day
The only one I got complements from a woman is the stronger with you . The one I personally love is edp Chanel bleu, tdh , allurue eau sport extrême. Élixir i cannot stand it myself lol. The ysl is so weak is a joke . Ideal I need to find it but seems so expensive. Oud wood is over rated I don’t find it correct for the price point

I have quite literally never had a compliment from montblanc explorer. I'm not a major fan of the actual smell either, don't think longevity or projection is particularly good either. I don't hate it or anything and if you like it, definitely buy it but the word I'd use to describe it is just kinda average. Nothing special, don't really get the hype.
Total opposite for me. I bought a small bottle after a lady in Boots gave out card scent strips with it on and I liked it. I got daily compliments from people who smelled it on me. From family members to people at work. Guys and women alike were asking me what I was wearing and saying I smelled gorgeous. I’ve had compliments wearing other frags, but never so dependably as with Explorer.
What a load of BS! Just bought Explorer retail... It smells cheap, and I hardly smell anything other than pepper. As for BDC, can't smell anything other than the smell of your average drug store.

I love BDC, I always get a complement or two. I just bought MB Explorer inspired by Adventus, but one of my new favorites is Missoni, inspired by BDC, but may be a little creamier and last a little longer. But for a mature masculine scent I like the newer CK Eternity EDP. I like your Chanel and you get my vote for the best produced. No bad editing or blurry shots!
Terre De Hermes is Just Pure Love at First Sniff and Something which is indeed TimeLess . You can't go wrong with it , It is the Audi BMW Merc of the Fragrance world which is always a Signature Worthy and something which I can never bored of Sniffing and Applying .

When I first got into fragrances I remember blind buying CAHSEE because I saw multiple reviews hyping it up. I absolutely hated it though. The opening is nice, then the fragrance is just awful after that
I recently went to a concert and let my date pick my scent. I took ALT Crystal No.23 (MFK BR540 clone) The Essence Vault clone of PDM Layton, Dior Sauvage, and YSL La Nuit De L’homme. She said Sauvage reminded her of when she worked at Ulta, the Layton clone reminded her of her dad but she thought it was a good scent, she really like the BR540 clone but more for her to wear as opposed to a man. Ultimately she choose La Nuit De L’homme, she gravitated toward it the most, happy to see it on the list !!!

I find Guerlain Ideal L’Intense much better then the edp or extreme. That added smoky note makes for a masculine Frag.. Explorer bottle before 2021 batches are great but my new bottle don’t last 2 hours. Very weak now! CDNIM EDP is the only way to go. Can’t stand that lipstick note in Dior n don’t see how any Man can like that Frag. Just my opinion

The colour of your la nuit de l'homme was same as mine 2 years ago but because i get a new bottle or 2 each wage has taken back seat but last time i used it colour had turned more darker and the smell was more stronger lasted on a shirt from morning till next morning where i could still pick up like a skin scent. It was maturing all that time lucky thing it was a 200ml bottle still have over 100ml left

I love it, wore it today. It's a great performer and smells great. Definitely a lot of nutmeg, but also a lot of licorice and lavender to me. A couple of small sprays either side of the back and a big spray underneath the top of your shirt/t-shirt, that's enough to get you through and day smelling great 👍

Hi Monika - you're right Tom Ford's Oud Wood is everything you said and more. I wore it at a evening bash with my dinner suit and yes I got one or two ladies asking what I was wearing. I'd say the only downside is it doesn't project very far, so I'm going to try Oud Wood Intense - I was told it's very good and does project like Tuscan Leather. Nice video.

But also check out Tom Ford's Oud Wood Intense that is meant to be a game changer insofar as projection and performance. And also Tuscan Leather is a beast in both areas projection and performance.

I heard it’s discontinued, at least in the US I guess. I had it for myself but sold it after 3 months. I think there are for sure better ones out there. Maybe try out One Million Lucky. It’s also a sweet scent but with a lot of freshness aswell. Basically an all year around fragrance. With a better performance than the Blue Electrique.
For what I've heard it is true that Blue Electrique has better performance and smells a little bit more modern but it isn't worth it to hunt it down now that it's discontinued. I've seen some crazy prices for a 100ml that just isn't worth it, I prefer to buy 2 bottles of the original and be done with it.
Bleu Electrique is about 95% similar to the original LDNL it's a much fresher take on the original. You get the Cardamom and the Lavender plus it smells sexy. Whenever I wore I would definitely get compliments. Plus I get 2-2.5 hours of strong projection and then about 7 hours longevity. So it's a solid fragrance.

What's your opinion on Allure extreme's longevity projection and compliments from the ladies?
And how do you feel about LNDL blue electric? I picked up a bottle of ways back and have been using it but I’m just curious as to whether or not there is something better out there I could be using instead
I heard it’s discontinued, at least in the US I guess. I had it for myself but sold it after 3 months. I think there are for sure better ones out there. Maybe try out One Million Lucky. It’s also a sweet scent but with a lot of freshness aswell. Basically an all year around fragrance. With a better performance than the Blue Electrique.
For what I've heard it is true that Blue Electrique has better performance and smells a little bit more modern but it isn't worth it to hunt it down now that it's discontinued. I've seen some crazy prices for a 100ml that just isn't worth it, I prefer to buy 2 bottles of the original and be done with it.
Bleu Electrique is about 95% similar to the original LDNL it's a much fresher take on the original. You get the Cardamom and the Lavender plus it smells sexy. Whenever I wore I would definitely get compliments. Plus I get 2-2.5 hours of strong projection and then about 7 hours longevity. So it's a solid fragrance.

Channel Allure was my very first fragrance and I’ll never forget it and I still have it till this day

@@redhabelbachir5428 Well Allure lasts for a very long time so i’m not sure if thats just the batch that I bought or if their all like that and some women like it and some say it’s ok but honestly I wear it because I personally like the smell
