With this battery upgrade, are you facing heating issues? Was the original battery at a lower voltage? COB lights are VERY SENSITIVE to heat and running them continuously for longer duration , without good quality heat sink and thermal paste will burn them down very quickly. If it was possible to add a battery with a higher capacity and ruin it for long time, the manufacturers would have done it already.

No there is no heating issue because the battery voltage is the same just increase the current capacity
