The National Day parade is the most highly choreographed public event in Singapore. Yet, it is also filled with unscripted - and often emotional - moments, which exemplify the best of the Singapore spirit.

Sometimes we fail to realize that while yes, Singapore still has its imperfections, we still have it good compared to other countries in the world. These moments just show who we are as singaporeans and how capable we are to make our country great. Let us all work together for a better Singapore in the future.
It let us noticed that anything can happens anytime, anywhere regardless of how well we prepared or how strong we are. We need to continue improving and do not let our guard down.
So touching, particularly the fellow with tears running down his cheeks, while singing Majulah Singapura!
It is one of the most beautiful national anthems of the world!
😭
Next year's parade more people will cry to come in the limelight. What a joke will that be?
Emotion which you can only feel from your heart. 💪💪💪
If his great grandfather or grand father who made/ wrote this song? Maybe a great meaning that touches him every time this song play. A story behind this song.
A day when we Singaporeans come together at heart especially when we all have worked hard and faced ups and downs in life together in Singapore we love our motherland and we are safe and proud to be born in Singapore. We are never alone in Singapore. I Love my country Singapore 🇸🇬
No matter what, we Singaporean must stay united. We must fight for Singapore. And be proud to be Singaporean. May God Protect n Bless Singapore always. 🙏
100%true .so proud to b one
Amen
Yes and it is sickening that people are making fun of this video.
These are one of the many reasons why this is among the best ndp celebrations, in spite of bloopers and fatal accidents and I may even consider this as the best ndp celebration out of all the others.
2022 has been a wild year, especially during the Ukraine war and new diseases and viruses arriving at their door step. Despite all the carnage and chaos around the world, it is still a breathtaking and exceptional experience throughout the year. What a phenomenal year…
All glory to God. I watched the parade at home n honestly I felt emotional n teared too.
My wish for Singapore is that we can become a beacon of light and humanity, in a world full of corruption, greed, and selfishness.
A society where integrity, honesty, humility, kindness, fairness, equality, inclusiveness, and hard work are valued.
Majulah Singapura!
With heart you don't cry, but with deep feeling in your heart that makes you cry.
Positive thoughts and prayers for the WO, great to see Mr Lawrence Wong and the acknowledgment, and I’m especially touched when I saw Mr Azuan Tan’s outpouring of emotions. That arrangement of the anthem was superb, and of course, there could be tons of reasons to his display of emotions, but it was indeed an iconic moment.
Wonderful nation-loving people and govt.
Thank you very much everyone,,,you guys make this moment so much more precious and us feeling very proud to be fellow Singaporean,,, thank you
Honestly, any kind of celebration with that kind of atmosphere and people singing together is quite emotional. Although I may not tear until like that 🤪
What about the “HI MOM”
Haha
O ya one person held up that paper
That crying man is probably gonna be a new meme in Singapore.
From what I've seen he's already a meme at a local school he's working at
@@craurd The equivalent of Michael Jordan here.
stronger together indeed 🤜🤛
Is it me or are the MPs in marsiling-yew tee GRC always going to the top class. First president halimah yacob and now Lawrence Wong. Wow my GRC might be the greatest of all time!!!!!!!!
Reminds us all of one old samsui woman who participated and featured prominently in one past NDP whom the media portrayed as staunchly asserting she never regretted staying in Singapore. Few years down the road in her late 90s and when times began to get harder, not wanting to burden her children who were also facing hardship and all of them not getting any social help in that no welfare is good public policy era, she climbed all the way up, despite her physical disability to the top of her HDB block.
I hope mr Jeffrey Heng is all right. Any update on him?
Yes , He in stable condition
@@tohjiayirenee5780 thank you very much for the update.
He is ok and doesn't require surgery.
Maju lah singapura ❤️ from malaysia
Thank you neighbor!
what did the pap done for the high cost of living in Singapore?
Crying teacher is patriotic
SAF should design some kind of landing protection gadget like the air bag in the car or some king of spring shoe that can help in soft landing. When in emergency, can reduce the hard landing force.
Aziam Tan has a reason to shed tears for the nation like LKY did in 1965 ♥️🤍
After Mr Heng recovered, would he be given 21 extra DO duties?
Being a good Singaporean is not committing any offences and crimes. Did anyone left any litter behind after the parade? If yes, singing the national anthem doesn't mean a thing.
How come we didnt see any ministers or PM lee or our Halimah crying while singing our proud natiomal anthem?? Lol God Blessed 👌🏼👌🏼🙏🙏
Hypocrites dont cry
The people who lead have to endure their tears no matter what happened. They have to be stronger in mindset than anyone. It is only to the very very last, which could not be endured then tears will be shredded.
They are the chosen ones, that's why. 🤣🤣🤣
The lions will continue its roar
Nice.
0:12 Dat botak man again!
Students in school dont sing the national anthem with their hearts tho…

Please give this guy his privacy!
In a one world economy, one world religion and a one world government. The national day celebration throughout the world will ceased to exist.
Sad ndp 2022😭
❤️
My heart goes to that guy who landed badly ,but if he is not an experience staff ,than why is he participating on such dangerous event ....
Life is so precious....
He had more than 1000 jumps I think
Its not his fault, suddenly strong winds that made him fall
There are many reasons that can go wrong and will go wrong,,, they are all coming in at very high speed,,,as a last jumper to take up the rear,,,he has to adjust and make very quick decisions to land in such a tight drop zone
you cant predict what would happen
THERE GOES MY ONLY POSSESSION.....THERE GOES MY EVERYTHING .....
CPF....HDB BTO...99 YEAR LEASE....AMK SERS 4😭😭😭😭😭
5 min ago his mistress angered for his action to bring his family out for NDP called saying it is over.
😭
Yeap, 365days of displeasure can b easily convince within 4hrs tat moment...... wil SG hav a leader tat NEVER serve NS?
I broke out in hysterical laughter seeing the man streaming tears while singing the anthem
Zyzz pose
I was so happy to see it.
Wait when, I didn’t see it
@@rayashiblie it was around the ending part when the show was over and performers were saying bye to the camera. Two of our athletes did the pose
What's there to cry? Someone died?
We are very proud of our nation deeply in our hearts and he is just one of them who poured out. Majulah.
@@JiEN0011 well said. People tears can be many reasons including a proud moment or gratitude. Is OK to tears. 🌞
To me it was all about coming into the limelight, that's all. Singaporeans are not patriotic and they don't love the country. They only wait for government give out $$$ every year.
None of anyone’s business why he cry. He may not be the only one who teared at NDP.
What??!!! National Singapore Anthem song is in Malay Language??!!! Shocking!! I thought its in English or Chinese!! But Singaporean can't speak malay but the national song was in Malay!! Hilarious!!
First
lol
Why on earth is a Malay man crying? This is not even his own country.
