This kid looks sharp, he's good there is no doubt in my mind we are looking at not only a future champ, but a future star. I think he needs to take it slow, work on his stand-up game, and get some more experience in the cage. If he does it right we will most definitely be seeing Bo headlining main cards and fighting for the belt many, many times.

Future middleweight champion. He'll be running that division by the beginning of 2025. He's 3 or 4 fights away and barring a flash knockout I don't see anybody beating him. There's been some great wrestlers in the UFC. Cats like CCC who won a gold medal. But Bo Nickal is just a rare and very special talent and his wrestling gives him such a supreme advantage over everybody else at 185 lbs. And the rest of his game is growing nicely. He knows how to set up to throw his hands and use that set up to transition into a shot. It's just scary what he is capable of becoming. And he has the drive to become that monster.

I wrestled on a D2 Ohio high-school team. Our team was 2nd overall in the state. We had a few state Champs on the team. There's an enormous, enormous gap between the Champs and the guys who finish 3rd or 4th. It's hard to explain but those top guys wrestle at a level that is hard to really grasp. I was pretty good and went to I think it was called Divisionals, so the second round of the playoffs at 152 lbs - and I cut an insane amount for that weight class. Our state champ at 112 could wreck me. And I was no pushover and I beat a hell of a lot of big guys. The Champs in wrestling are just freaks of nature

    • @raiderspheresportstalkshow1926
      @raiderspheresportstalkshow1926 Рік тому +3

Bo Nickel won the U23 world championship at 92kg in freestyle wrestling. World Wrestling Championships is every year while Olympics is every 4. The Olympics has fewer weight classes than Worlds. So countries like USA, Iran, and Russia who have stacked weight classes cannot send all their best guys to compete at the Olympics. Collegiate wrestling (Folk style) is very different than free style wrestling. Collegiate wrestling is more about "control" while free style is more about "back exposure." Hence why wrestlers who have wrestled folk style tend to make a smoother transition into MMA than those who compete at freestyle. Now to answer the question why Bo Nickal never represented the USA for the Olympics... Bo was an alternative for the last Olympics beating out Zahid Valencia from ASU but fell to the eventual 2020 Olympic Gold Champion David Taylor... a fellow Penn State Nittany Lion. David Taylor is the best in the world at 86kg (Bo's weight class). Bo Nickal elected to forgo his pursuit in beating David Taylor in order to transition into MMA. I believe eventually Bo Nickal would have been able to surpass David Taylor but would have also had to fend off Zahid Valencia at the same time all while trying to beat all of the worlds 86kg wrestlers. So I think Bo Nickal made a business decision. There has never been a MMA fighter with the same or even close to Bo Nickal's collegiate wrestling accolades. All the UFC hype around Dagestanian Wrestlers dominance has never been challenged by a great American wrestler. If Bo Nickal is successful in his MMA venture, it will have a ripple effect. All American great wrestlers would want to transition into MMA.

Bo is not only coming, Bo has arrived and everyone in the top 10 is running from him! Let’s get Khamzat by early next year then a title shot by mid next year. Bos not following the book on this one, boys, so why should you?? Bos rewriting the book with his lifelong rules of wrestling. That’s it so throw out the traditional book, here! I don’t see many haters anymore! Put the Middleweight Champ up against Bo at the end of the year and that guy’s pressure boxing isn’t going to stand up against Bos takedowns! I’d say a thorough beat down and submission in the second, maybe the third for the New Middleweight Champion of the World, Bo Nickal!!!

Big fan of wrestling but a good Jiu-Jitsu artist competitor Cannon stick people that are used to wrestling in an armbar or position that would prevent them from winning

The Middleweight div was so boring a year ago.
    Now its gunning for greatness.
Izzy Pereira Khamzat & potentially Bo Nickal.
Lets see if he's worth the hype or turns out to be another Sage Northcutt.

Bo has already proven he can strike. Askren never even attempted to strike. He still has a lot of work to do but it’s looking very promising

I feel like everyone is sleeping hella hard on khamzats wrestling somehow😅and his striking. He is a 3 time Sweden national gold medal winner and even tho he has all around record of 36-0 in wrestling. He’s also a purple belt in bjj. And striking wise I haven’t seen anything saying no nickal was a junior golden gloves boxer only his mom put him into boxing so y’all yanking that one out of nowhere to ppl saying he is

It basically comes down to Bos Collegiate style of wrestling vs Khamzats International Freestyle Wrestling. That’s it and also, just look at who Vegas is going to have as their odds on favorite when that time comes! So your points are valid, here, but who are you going to put your hard earned money on when they do hook up???

    Ode to Nutshot Nickal
Do, re, mi, let's start to sing,
About a wrestler, a force within,
His name is Bo, he's got some flair,
    Delivering low blows, foes beware.
    (Chorus)
Bo, Bo, the master of low blows,
Stepping in the ring, everybody knows,
With a sly grin and a wink so free,
Bo, Bo, the one we want to see!
Re, mi, fa, we'll spin this tale,
Of Bo's conquests, he'll never fail,
He dances 'round, with cunning guile,
Leaving his opponents in a pile.
Bo, Bo, the master of low blows,
Stepping in the ring, everybody knows,
With a sly grin and a wink so free,
Bo, Bo, the one we want to see!
Sol, la, ti, the crowd will cheer,
When Bo walks in, they know he's near,
His every move, a work of art,
Bo's low blows, they hit the mark.
Do, ti, la, the end is close,
For those who face Bo, they'll feel the woes,
His low blows strike, so swift and sly,
Another win, he'll reach the sky.
Bo, Bo, the master of low blows,
Stepping in the ring, everybody knows,
With a sly grin and a wink so free,
Bo, Bo, the one we want to see!
Do, re, mi, we've sung our tale,
Of Bo the wrestler, his legend will sail,
The master of low blows, a hero so bold,
Bo, Bo, his story's been told.

Everyone is delusional af. He has good wrestling but not good enough that he’ll be able to hang with the upper echelon . He had trouble talking down a nobody and only got the takedown after an illegal knee to the nuts.
