I love this collection. I think Coach has really stepped up their game. I ordered some of the new pieces right away ~ I got the Marlie bag in shearling and returned it. I thought the C’s looked messy and undefined. I got the red Nolita and returned that too. I got the wine colored Swinger bag from the boutique and I loved it so much… especially because of the chain strap, that I didn’t think I would use both. I saw the skyline crossbody bag at the outlet store during my travels in New Orleans and decided it was too light for me, but it is cute and a good size. I wear jeans so much that I was worried about color transfer. I tried :). I learned from these mistakes because you pay your own shipping to return outlet bags which is not the case when you order from the boutique. Glad we were on the same page.
I think it’s the luck of the draw. My outlet shearling came in with soft fur that looked more dense than the one you received. Also there were no creases in mine. Mine felt soft to the touch. I definitely think you got a slightly defective bag. While I do prefer the retail version but like you I can’t justify the price since I wouldn’t use it on a regular basis. So I’m very pleased with the outlet version I,received. I’m sorry yours came in that way. TYF.
I'd really like to flex and get that retail shearling bag but I just know I'd regret it because it would get used so little. It's so pretty though. I'm glad you love your Nolita!

My outlet shearling came out so nice and soft. I did notice some peoples Nolita shearling looked a little different from mine which could explain why there are so many different opinions on the shearling (rough, soft, etc…) The one I got I feel was well made and the shearling looks amazing and not cheap looking at all. But that’s how I felt for a seasonal bag I was not going to pay $500 for it especially when I know it will go on sale in a few months anyways. Now I would spend $600 on shearling gucci or LV piece because their value does hold.

The one you showed from the boutique appeared fluffier, I wonder if it is in person 🤔. I'm so glad you reviewed the shearling one for us, as I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not. I love the size, shape, and how it hangs off of you, but as soon as you showed it up close (and said it feels a bit cheap) it became a big nope for me. I know some will love it, of course, but I don't think I want my bag to feel like slippers.
It does remind me a bit of my shearling slippers. I thought the bag looked nice in the photos I'd seen from Coach but when people started posting their personal photos of the bag I was like, "Uh, oh."

Great video as usual 😊. I suggest the Field Tote 22. I got mine in Chalk and LOVE it but there are other options. $350. A little larger and 30 size is just under 500 and might be worth it to fit everything comfortably.

Great video! I didn’t like the shearling. The C’s kind of blended in with the background on the edges on the one I received. Definitely returning. I do like the skyline wristlet and key fob. I LOVE the cardinal red nolita! It’s not bright red which I love. Wore it to an event last night and it was the perfect pop of red with my black dress! Definitely a win!

Yes, I've seen the black one. Strongly considering it. Not sure if I should go that route or wait for the perfect boutique one. I've seen photos of a Field Tote 22 from the upcoming Coach X Blue collection (the one with the mummy Rexy like on this canvas tote: go.magik.ly/ml/1az18/) that has that Rexy on a CC print where the CCs look like they're made of crumbling stone. I love it but I'm pretty sure it's only being released in Asia. 😭

The handles on the 22 Field Tote bags from the boutique don't fold in, and I'm not always a fan of stationary handles on bags. I find that the shearling on the outlet jlo collection is the same type of shearling used on the boutique collected last year, for example the shearling Holly slides.

Hey Autumn! Have you looked at The Marc Jacob Tote bags? They’re square and similar to the Coach totes. The smallest tote is about the size of a speedy 25. Your agenda might fit in that. It comes in all leather and start at $375. I think you get a lot of bag for your money with those. I have one red leather mini and one small jacquard tote by Marc Jacob. I love the small for work cause it holds my 13 inch laptop and I love the mini as an everyday bag. If you don’t want leather, they also come in canvas and the price point is less. If you do check them out, and decide to get one, I would love to see you do a review on that tote! 😊

Shearling will never work for me. I am too messy. It would only be a matter of time before coffee/food was all over it! I did like the tote, but I don't think I would buy that one either. I returned my shearling JLO nolita 19. I felt for the price, more leather should’ve been used, the shearling should’ve been of higher quality & for some reason … I felt my nolita 15 held more than this version of the 19…
I see what you mean on the website the Dempsey definitely looks darker but in person clearly it’s not. Not sure how I feel about the shearling.kind of disappointed with the line it wasn’t all I thought it would be.
I agree with you on both pieces. It was a NO right away on the shearling . I liked the boutique version, but not the outlet one. I think Jennifer Lopez should stick to singing, not designing handbags.
I highly doubt she has anything to do with the designs, they are just using her name, as long as she’s getting paid, she probably doesn’t care much about the design. It would be interesting though to know for sure if they do or do not have any say in it.
That's not a bad price increase because the original boutique Nolita 19 was $150. (That's what I paid. A few months later it was available on the outlet for less.) Also, they had to pay JLo for the use of her name.

Not a big fan of the shearling. Living in southern Florida, it wouldn’t make sense. The leather tote, on the other hand, is really cute. I’m surprised you want to send that back. Are you afraid of color transfer? Spray it with one of those leather protectors. Did the tote came in any other colors?
I didn’t think shearling was ever soft, every shearling bag I see looks like it would be rough to the touch. I have never had any high end shearling bags, so I wouldn’t know for sure. I think it’s cute, but $30 cute, lol.
Both would be a no for me , they don’t look like they are worth the price. Kinda look like something you might find in KMart back in the day . Surprised to see this from Coach. Maybe they are better quality in person .

I'd worry about how the shearling would hold up over time; or if it would looked dated in a year (verses it in an all leather neutral). I like the shape of the little tote but like you, the color wouldn't work for me. I'm waiting for an entire collection video.
It could very well look dated. That's another reason I prefer the $500 Swinger version. I think it looks more timeless since it's higher quality. Oh mercy that fuzzy pouch is not good! The small tote would be great except for the colors Coach chose- the peachy orange is a hard no. What is going on with their design department - more misses than hits recently in my opinion. And BTW, Coach has Jennifer Lopez and Gucci has Sarah Jessica Parker for the face of their new releases. That seems sort of backward. JLo looks more like a Gucci kind of girl and Sarah Jessica can embody modern American style. Or so it seems to me.
I agree. How was that Dempsey not released in a black version. It's NYC after all. The City's color is black. Interesting about JLo and JSP. I hadn't seen Sarah with Gucci yet. I'm curious how they'll style her. I'm still disappointed that Coach didn't release the hoodie that was part of the JLo collection. I was seriously considering it.

For starters I love that top on you! Both bags look good on you, but I agree with your decision to return them. If you don't love a bag there is no point in keeping it, no matter the price. It was helpful to see them in video. I'm sure there are many people out there who will love them! xoxo

I was at the Coach outlet on Wednesday and the had the shearling Nokia’s. I agree, it does look cheap for the price. I saw the Dempsey, too, and I have to say, I was impressed with the leather in this bag. It’s incredibly soft and very high quality. I almost bought it for my friend from Poland, but she would complain about the glitter so I passed.

@@AutumnBeckman Yes, they did! There was only one there. I agree, I don’t like a big patch in the front of anything no matter who the designer is. But, if you are interested in it, it’s at the Coach Outlet in Lahaska, PA, Penn’s Purchase outlets, although the rest of what was there is closed. I saw the new Mollie tote while I was there and I think it’s beautiful, but I don’t like a center compartment in a small tote because they can be awkward when you hand carry them, the bag seems to lay funny, but this one was fine. It’s a beautiful bag though.
Autumn, I love the look of my shearling Nolita! I too used my gold chain from my Exotic Dreamer to wear crossbody. The extra $25 occurred if you purchased past the launch dates & weren’t an insider member. A day later it went back to $150. If you plan to keep, call customer service to get reduction.

Shearling will never work for me. I am too messy. It would only be a matter of time before coffee/food was all over it! I did like the tote, but I don't think I would buy that one either. I returned my shearling JLO nolita 19. I felt for the price, more leather should’ve been used, the shearling should’ve been of higher quality & for some reason … I felt my nolita 15 held more than this version of the 19…
I see what you mean on the website the Dempsey definitely looks darker but in person clearly it’s not. Not sure how I feel about the shearling.kind of disappointed with the line it wasn’t all I thought it would be.
I agree with you on both pieces. It was a NO right away on the shearling . I liked the boutique version, but not the outlet one. I think Jennifer Lopez should stick to singing, not designing handbags.
I wonder how much say she actually had in the design process. Surely she at least approved them. I don't know.
I highly doubt she has anything to do with the designs, they are just using her name, as long as she’s getting paid, she probably doesn’t care much about the design. It would be interesting though to know for sure if they do or do not have any say in it.

They reduced the price to $150 again! I hope because of customer complaints. They're been really sneaky with some of their pricing lately.
That's not a bad price increase because the original boutique Nolita 19 was $150. (That's what I paid. A few months later it was available on the outlet for less.) Also, they had to pay JLo for the use of her name.
And now they're back to $150. I wonder if people complained and Coach responded to that. 🤔

Not a big fan of the shearling. Living in southern Florida, it wouldn’t make sense. The leather tote, on the other hand, is really cute. I’m surprised you want to send that back. Are you afraid of color transfer? Spray it with one of those leather protectors. Did the tote came in any other colors?
I didn’t think shearling was ever soft, every shearling bag I see looks like it would be rough to the touch. I have never had any high end shearling bags, so I wouldn’t know for sure. I think it’s cute, but $30 cute, lol.
Both would be a no for me , they don’t look like they are worth the price. Kinda look like something you might find in KMart back in the day . Surprised to see this from Coach. Maybe they are better quality in person .

I love Coach, but would never buy anything with the Jennifer Lopez name on it. They all look cheap and tacky. And the cream bag with peach and sparkles, totally not worth even half what you paid. Totally agree with returning both. You could buy one nice bag instead. ♥️ Thank you for the review!

I'd worry about how the shearling would hold up over time; or if it would looked dated in a year (verses it in an all leather neutral). I like the shape of the little tote but like you, the color wouldn't work for me. I'm waiting for an entire collection video.
It could very well look dated. That's another reason I prefer the $500 Swinger version. I think it looks more timeless since it's higher quality. Oh mercy that fuzzy pouch is not good! The small tote would be great except for the colors Coach chose- the peachy orange is a hard no. What is going on with their design department - more misses than hits recently in my opinion. And BTW, Coach has Jennifer Lopez and Gucci has Sarah Jessica Parker for the face of their new releases. That seems sort of backward. JLo looks more like a Gucci kind of girl and Sarah Jessica can embody modern American style. Or so it seems to me.
I agree. How was that Dempsey not released in a black version. It's NYC after all. The City's color is black. Interesting about JLo and JSP. I hadn't seen Sarah with Gucci yet. I'm curious how they'll style her. I'm still disappointed that Coach didn't release the hoodie that was part of the JLo collection. I was seriously considering it.

For starters I love that top on you! Both bags look good on you, but I agree with your decision to return them. If you don't love a bag there is no point in keeping it, no matter the price. It was helpful to see them in video. I'm sure there are many people out there who will love them! xoxo

I wasn't going to post this until next week (partly because the bags weren't supposed to arrive until next week) but I wanted to get it up since people are really interested in that shearling bag. It seems to have helped several people make a decision on it.
Love your top and necklace! I wouldn't keep the furry pouch, I'd be concerned about how it would wear over time. Really like the tote though! It's a good small size and seems well-designed. Plus the skyline looks really cool 😎

@@AutumnBeckman ooh. I like the redwood signature one with the turquoise stripes. Almost like a mini version of the field tote. And the canvas will end up being more lightweight than all-leather.
How disappointing, the shearling color looks like a richer brown on Coach website but dull in this video.

Don’t care for either bag. Agree that the Nolita looks cheap and it’s way too trendy. Love the Dempsey tote style but not the color scheme on this one. No glitter allowed on a bag that costs more than $30!
I was at the Coach outlet on Wednesday and the had the shearling Nokia’s. I agree, it does look cheap for the price. I saw the Dempsey, too, and I have to say, I was impressed with the leather in this bag. It’s incredibly soft and very high quality. I almost bought it for my friend from Poland, but she would complain about the glitter so I passed.

@@AutumnBeckman Yes, they did! There was only one there. I agree, I don’t like a big patch in the front of anything no matter who the designer is. But, if you are interested in it, it’s at the Coach Outlet in Lahaska, PA, Penn’s Purchase outlets, although the rest of what was there is closed. I saw the new Mollie tote while I was there and I think it’s beautiful, but I don’t like a center compartment in a small tote because they can be awkward when you hand carry them, the bag seems to lay funny, but this one was fine. It’s a beautiful bag though.
Autumn, I love the look of my shearling Nolita! I too used my gold chain from my Exotic Dreamer to wear crossbody. The extra $25 occurred if you purchased past the launch dates & weren’t an insider member. A day later it went back to $150. If you plan to keep, call customer service to get reduction.
