Thank you. With work comes strength, and "bravery". Try to skate with your legs "scissored" and keep the majority of your weight on your back foot whether you are going forwards or backwards. Go from there. ( you want to learn to skate with all your weight on one foot or the other, almost all the time. It is rare you will ever see me with my weight evenly distributed between both my feet) I love seeing people our age get out and do this. 🙂 Your writing is just fine.
