I'm at a point in all the game modes where it's impossible to climb having no evos. I just jumped back in with a 2017 near max deck. Almost zero reason to play without spending.

@@Shirazul_Islam it's actually great, the only time I have to interact with the meta is with global tournaments and they have the upside of having fixed card levels, also a lot of features (clan wars, tournaments, lucky drops) are tied to king level and not arena. Unfortunately I don't have access to goblin queen journey, that would have been fun to push. I can enjoy the game and worry about it being horrible less than other people
