- This Porsche-built Mercedes Benz W124 E500 Limited gets a FULL PACKAGE detailing, complete with dry ice cleaning, polish, interior detailing, leather care, and finished with ceramic coating. We pulled out all the stops for the car that saved our beloved Porsche.
This is one of our favorite models ever made. Popular around the world, there's nothing quite like the Mercedes 500E and the decision to have Porsche help design and manufacture them.
This E 500 Limited spec had less than 1000 units produced, making this an extremely rare beast.. that we've had TWO of in our shop the last few months. They always seem to come in twos...

@@hurghada_rixos- W123 E500s are rare and very collectible, figure $30-$40k and up with lots of deferred maintenance in the lower range examples. for less money you could also consider W210 (1999-2002) E55 AMGs, or for even less W211 (2003-2009) E500s and E550s. E550s have nearly 400hp and are legitimate beasts, but be mindful of the issues around the timing gears on 07-08 years. E55s and E500s with the M113 motor and 722.6 transmission are extremely reliable.

The underneath already looked really clean, and things like plated parts already shiny, would it be safe to assume it may have previously had a dry ice blast treatment in the past?
I’m in great shock at the state of your cars! In Russia, the bottom of a car of that year would be like the bottom of the Flintstone family’s car, there would be such holes that a leg would most likely fit in there; this Mercedes would be covered in corrosion. And only A few car owners have cars of these years of manufacture in good condition.

When removing the badges, how long does it take to remove the glue?
it's quicker than you think with the right tools - that wheel we use - probably a half hour or so, depending on if the car sat outside in the sun its whole life or not lol
I saw a a big scratch on the wood element at the right of the gear lever!? Is it true or is the light effect?

The Wolf - amazing job! What did you use on the roof/window trims? They start black & fade over time (was often a warranty issue back in the day). Mine aren't too faded but have some water etching (being an ex-Japan car) that I'd like to remove.
have you tried Lithium Trim Serum? I discovered that a couple of years ago and it's fantastic for removing stains and restoring color to black plastic trim. better than anything else I've used previously.
@@motorwolfe - sadly roof & window trim is not plastic, it's anodised aluminium & fades with age. It should stay black but doesn't (fades to the all too common goldish-bronze & is prone to water etching) - there were lots of warranty claims back in the day apparently.
I have one of those, its from 1995 and exact this color, the best car i have had, bougth in 2006 and have been down Nurburgring several
times. when you get out to the straight before goal / start you just floor the pedal and most cars just dissapear in the mirror....
I will NOT sell this ever...

Forgive me if I’ve missed it BUT, is it possible for you to in the description state the manufacturer’s colour name? It’s be nice to know what the manufacturer calls the exterior and interior colour. BTW thanks so much for adding the exhaust clip.

These cars transports 700 kg of cannabis in Morocco, no stopping at gendarmerie or police check points whatsoever. Mostly night trips. I owned in the 90 one like these. Best car ever

What process of cleaning by pressure? Expensive or not?
It is called Dry Ice Cleaning and it uses a physics process called Sublimation to remove contaminants from a surface. It’s very reasonably priced for the speed and effectiveness

The wood could go to a luthier, they know how to strip the lacquer, stain the wood, and refinish it.
