Laura's song

I composed this song 11 years ago. Or I didn't even compose, it just came out of me when I sat by the piano after a therapeutic piano lesson when instead of playing, me and my piano teacher talked about painful life experiences and he felt he just had to let me talk, not have me play. He had such a wise heart.
11 years later life is still painful and a lot of the video footage was shot with pain in my heart. When editing it felt like no music fit, nothing felt right until I found Laura's song. (Laura is an imaginary person.) The song reminded me that it's ok to feel feelings. Pain and sorrow are just one part of life and that's ok. Sometimes what is needed the most is to quit what you're doing and to just feel the pain that you're trying to run away from. That's where the healing starts, by having the courage to face what's already in you. I hope this can help somebody. ❤️
