I remember when I took the tour of Graceland and someone asked the guide "Where are all Elvis' Cadillacs?" To which the guide answered, "Elvis drove a Stutz and a Ferrari, he gave away Cadillacs." I'll never forget that...

I live about 15 minutes from the stutz building in Indianapolis and have got to work in it. In the basement there's a black hawk as well as some other studs cars and through different floors there's various cars. A great place to work in sight see you at the same time.

DANNY - I have owned 2 Pontiac Grand Prix's = a 1973 SJ 455 T-top (original design model with the full-length grille ) and a 1975 SJ 455 ( the last single 5/34 headlight model before they went dual square lights ) The 1973 was black with a red interior / The 1975 was white with a white interior. but pinstriped in red, giving it a nice accent. My cars were all original - and I kept them highly detailed [ before detailing was even a thing ] Each one was about 2 years old when I bought them. The 1973 Grand Prix I just drove and maintained. Both cars were immaculate and well taken care of by me. The only things that I did were a deeper rumbling free-flowing all stainless exhaust on the 75, and put air shocks under it to alter the ride height to a tad lower, and added real wood veneers on the dash, console and doors, red illumination to the gauges, and red double stitching and piping on the seats that were reupholstered with white real Italian leather as used by Baker Furniture co. (My father was employed there ) I ordered a custom made red wool carpeting for it too - replacing the black carpeting. The trunk had red carpeting too. The headlamps were European spec 55/65 quartz halogen from Carello - and I put a specially modified Olds dual-snorkel air filter on the engine. The wheel rims were Pontiacs pressed mag style painted the same white as the car - with highly buffed stainless beauty rings, chrome center caps, and chromed lug nuts. It had Uniroyal Tiger Paw whitewall tires. The end result was a really attention-getting 1975 Pontiac 445 SJ that turned heads and drew people to look it over and compliment it. Everyone raved over the interior and I never told them it was customized. I told them it was that way when I bought it. Oh, I almost forgot - and one last thing - I had a cousin that worked at Michigan Bumper and Plating - he was able to get the Air Filter, Rocker Covers, Valley cover, Brackets, Fan, and pulleys, Oil Pan, Dipstick all plated for free. That totally beautified the engine area and looked marvelous against the GM blue engine paint. I spent months detailing under the hood and repainting many things that were black to a nice rich silver metallic heat resistant enamel. MY PONTIAC WAS NOT A HOT ROD - IT WAS A MIDLY MODIFIED 445 CU IN POWERED ROAD ROCKET, LOWRIDING CRUISER,. LAKE MICHIGAN BEACH STAR. I OWNED HER FOR 13 YEARS AND SOLD HER TO A MAN DOWN THE STREET WHO TOLD ME HE ALWAYS ENVIED IT AND WANTED IT. [The moron blew the rear differential and messed up the transmission by doing burnouts and doughnuts with it.]
Love the look of your Stutz Blackhawk. Peace

jay kay Season One, "Searching For Soul." If the woman who had the car had more respect for who owned it, she would have demanded a lot more money than what she got for it. If I had it, I would have wanted $10,000, not the $7500 she eventually took for it.

Most inner body stampings (body structure) is Grand Prix as well....but those taillights lol...'73 Malibu wagon, are they not? Yes the car biz is full of snakes. Obviously you're not one of them. Thanks for the fun video! Anyone remember the '73-ish Monte Carlos with a Rolls type grill? Was like a poor man's Stutz but still kinda slick.

Oh Yes I LOVE the Stutz Blackhawk. you can see all of the detail that went into the design of the car. Love how Ryan put the Gold leaf on it because of all the Gold plating on the inside. I seen the episode when you found and restored Berry Whites. it was great. Now that i know you drive it sometimes in Vegas If i ever go there again i will be looking for that Beautiful Stutz. I'm a huge Elvis fan as well. I would love to know more about the 56 FORD P/up you drive on the show when you don't drive the Chevy. I would like to have it or a 56 panel. Have a GREAT day Danny and everyone at Counts Kustoms

Danny you are the man, living that amazing life we all wish to have some part of. Yes you sharing is giving back to us regular folks that you make laugh and cry cus charector and heart is what you bring to us. Born in 1960 I to love the mid to late 70's everything about those days no other generation had ad much fun ad the kids who grew up then. We aren't the greatest generation compared for other reasons that went before ours. But for sure had the most fun the best music the best of what it means to be American, we got charector and heart with lots of respect and love to go along with the blessing we have to show for those years. Clubs dancing etc.. the movies all of it was purs to behold
We are the blessed generation seriously, now like fine wine...

Hey Danny! Love the Stutz! I owned a ‘75 myself for a time about 20 years ago out in Atlantic City when I was working for Legends In Concert @ Bally’s Park Place. Just wanted to give you a heads up. The last car Elvis ever drove the night before he passed away, coming back from the dentist at 12:28 am, was a 1973 Stutz Blackhawk with Black exterior paint job, red leather interior with the gold plated interior trim and a gold plated key. Love your white Stutz! I think it looks cleaner & cooler in white with gold accents. I had a silver one with the gold plated accents on the interior. Mine was originally a two-tone (Silver & Black) but the owner before me did a repaint of all silver. Love The King too! Saw him in concert in Tampa back in ‘76. Love your show! ⚡️TCB⚡️ This is my girlfriends UA-cam account as I’m on her iPad. So I’m a dude not a chick! 😆

I remember seeing Elvis’ white Stutz in August 1975, outside one of the big LA casinos (where he was performing). It was in front of Fats Domino’s stretched Mercedes limo (wine metallic paintwork from memory). On the the Stutz fascia by the dials, was a silver plate with ‘Mr. Elvis Presley’. Only Stutz that I have ever seen. We don’t see them in New Zealand - beautiful car !
