News Editor Meenakshi Kandwal interviewed Yogi's elder sister, Shashi Singh in Uttarakhand. Yogi's sister runs a shop. "Yogi wanted to serve people since childhood," said Shashi Singh. But very quickly he controlled his emotions and said that I am a sanyasi now and the whole UP is now my family. May Lord Shiva protect and bless our beloved Yogi ji all the time. Pahado mein rahene wale log bahut hi sachche aur achche hote hain.

I had a very wrong initial impression of Yogiji after reading a lot of articles from a certain sections of media. Then one day I came across an interview of Yogiji's sister. It was i think some 3 years ago. The shop was certainly smaller. I realised that someone so kindhearted and simple cannot have a brother as described by that section of the media. So I dug deeper, and am happy I did it. As Vivekananda said, if you want to find a great man look at the way he did small things as when a big ocassion comes, even a fool rises to it. Hope Yogiji does even better work in his 2nd term.
