We Dimasa Kachari people call Mighty Brahmaputra as "Dilaobra", and Ocean as "sangibra" particularly "bra" means its meeting point through branch.

Boro and bodosa are two different things boro is a tribe in assam and Bodosa are one among 40 clans(sengfong) of dimasa which is now used as surname... It is said that boro kachari and dimasa kachari were one before crossing the river Brahmaputra. And after that DIMASA name has come where DIMA means Big River and SA means Son. Together it becomes DIMASA-Son of a Big River...

Very nice video and briefings. Dimasa people converted was believed Hinduism after establishing capital at khaspur and started influencing by brahmin migrated Bengali from Bengal.
Those Hindu dimasas are called barmans or hawarsa. Most dimasas are non-hindu following traditional animism, in 1931 and 1950, 80% dimasas population was written as non-hindu but unfortunately after 1971, all non-hindu and non-christian tribes were forcefully written off as hindu by government census. Non-christian naga, heraka naga, hrangkhol, karbi, dimasa and nagas of Arunachal who are all non-christian were forcefully correlated under Hinduism

Our Dimasa Kingdom had many kingdom from Nagoan side to Tezpur, Dimapur, Maibang and Kaspur Silchar.
But we can't find any of yours.
Even Bodo was the Clan surname of Dimasa Kachari.
And main thing that firstly you people wrote as boro kachari then change it as bodo Kachari.
Please go find it🙏, its a fact bro . But we are from same Kachari Kingdom.
We did separated during war time with Axom, Mughal and along with division of Brahmaputra river.

Bisu has a Dimasa meaning. Bi+su (Bima+ Suwama) meaning prayer and worship.... Since centuries, we are celebrating that and aryans that lived under our Kingdom celebrated it as Bihu
And Bwisagu comes from Bengali word Baisag mash.. New year

The inscription was found in Ghilamara region of Lakhimpur district in the year 1935 and it was issued in the year 1401 A.D. It states that the king Lakshminarayan has donated land grants to Brahmins on the auspicious occasion of Bihu. It reads,
“Etasmay Shashana prada Lakshminarayana Nripa
Utrijya Bisuye Punya Ravidev Dvijanme”
- Copper plate, Ghilamara (1401)
This means that on the pious occasion of Bihu, a Brahmin named Dvija Ravidev was granted land by the king.
