I’m super jealous your in the boat already 😂. Thanks for the Entertainment and btw every pair of rain boots on the tidwe sight is SOLD OUT I guess I’ll stick with my NATS for now..
Planning to hit the Detroit River this spring for the first time and want to use some blade baits too. Do you use a leader and, if so, what do you use? I'm thinking we'd need something stiffer to avoid tangles on the bait. I enjoy your videos. Liked as always.
Dude, I would pass on the blade baits on the Detroit River. Maybe some people use them but I've never heard of anyone using them and not losing them on a snag. Too expensive for that. Lead head jigs and plastics are a lot cheaper. No leader is necessary on the D.
Love it!
I love the fox
Great to see you out
Thanks Matt!
Thanks for the TideWe recommendation. Just put my order in from your link!
We love to hear it! What did you decide to go with? 😃

Fire bro
Thank you!
crazy to see that you guys have open water already, I'm up north in Canada and we wont see open water till late April
Still tons of ice on the lakes, but thankfully we have rivers that open up early to scratch the itch!

Really?? Wow I did not realize that! Did you check Amazon maybe?
All good bro thanks for the reply.👍
Nice
Thanks!
That boat is sweet. A bit overkill for the Fox lol. But I bet she'll be nice out on the bay!
Hopefully he invites me out on the bay in it! 🤣
Awesome content. What do you guys use for line setup typically?
Thank you! Usually this time of the year we have 10-12 lb suffix 832 braid to a 4-8’ fluorocarbon leader. Usually either p-line or seagaur blue label
I have a 2 inch max limit for ice thickness, I have done 3 inches but thats spooky.
Definitely is!
Also blade baits work year round fyi
Thanks for the info!

Thank you! Yes we do use a leader. I usually run 12-15 lb 100% fluorocarbon. I use Seagaur blue label.

@@radfishguy6784 I appreciate the information and yeah, they're not cheap. I'm pretty well stocked up on jigs too. Thanks, dude.
@@NBedits Exactly what I was thinking. Thanks! Keep up the good work!
