Lexie knows how much you love her. She's always with you, in your heart and will never leave there. I've been through this too. I had a cat until I was 21 (like most of my life) and couldn't even look at one for about 3 years after that. Lots of love to you!

The ending of this video had me in tears because my old man of 15 years isn't doing so well right now and I just know I don't have much longer with him and it hurts so much. He was a Christmas present when I was about 7 or 8. Dogs are so good and that's why it hurts so much when they go. I'm just hoping to make my old man's last days/weeks/whatever's left the best they possibly can be.

Whenever I hear my dogs voice or my moms I cry since I know I can't see them at the moment. losing an animal- your best friend, essentially- is really hard. and I should know; I lost my dog, Soren, a few years ago. she was already a few years old when we adopted her, but she was very protective of me and my family. she wouldn't let me out of her sight, and she would get so excited when I came home from school. everything Soren did for me just made it harder to say goodbye. but it does get easier. trust me, it will get easier as you move on. you will never forget Lexie, you will hold her close to your heart, and just imagine her being your guardian angel, and just think that she's watching over you wherever you go. sometimes thinking that they're still with you helps. it helped me so much. much love, Brizzy. I lost my own dog, Belle, after only one week about a year ago because the shelter we got her at was only in it for the money and didn't tell us she had a deadly puppy disease known as Parvovirus. I know that can't come close to you losing a best friend-no, more like a family member after 17 years. But, I just wanted to let you know that it'll get better! Just you wait, Brizzy! I now have a lovely pupper, Lucy, and although things might not get better right away-after all, no matter what happens, there will still be a wound with a paw-shaped scar in your heart-it'll get there someday! So, so many people love you and we only want to see you happy and to see you smile, because when you smile, we smile. Keep doing what makes YOU happy, fellow crazy (for the best people are crazy, you know), and never forget that happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light. 😊

I know how brizzy feels to have to say goodbye to your dog but I actually did not get to say goodbye to my dog when she left but I feel bad for brizzy cuz dogs are the best thing to happen ever and thay make every thing better and your life kinda fells empty with out your dog around but her dog is in a better place and will be waiting for brizzy at the rainbow bridge and will both get reunited soon :-)

I gave my dog a big hug, just like you wanted, Brizzy. I lost my own dog, Belle, after only one week about a year ago because the shelter we got her at was only in it for the money and didn't tell us she had a deadly puppy disease known as Parvovirus. I know that can't come close to you losing a best friend-no, more like a family member after 17 years. But, I just wanted to let you know that it'll get better! Just you wait, Brizzy! I now have a lovely pupper, Lucy, and although things might not get better right away-after all, no matter what happens, there will still be a wound with a paw-shaped scar in your heart-it'll get there someday! So, so many people love you and we only want to see you happy and to see you smile, because when you smile, we smile. Keep doing what makes YOU happy, fellow crazy (for the best people are crazy, you know), and never forget that happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light. 😊

I lost my dog, Maisy, a little less than a year ago. So, I feel your pain. She had cancer and was still pretty young. Anyone who sees this give a like or comment for all the amazing dogs out there who we have lost. ❤️

Awww I'm so sorry. Lexie was the sweetest. I understand I lost my dog a year ago a couple days after Christmas. I understand how it feels. Just think of the happy memories you had with her and you will feel a little better. Trust me.
