    Seriously awesome video, 261 looks sharp as ever! Loved the drone shots, especially that one at SPUD with downtown St. Paul sitting behind. Hopefully I can see it when it does the yearly run along the TC&W this fall

    • @SD457500
      @SD457500  Рік тому

      Thanks a ton, and glad you enjoyed it! :D The drone shot at SPUD took about two months of planning with the FAA to get airspace approved, and then unlocking DJI geo fencing; it was a lot. Hopefully you'll get it on the TCWR soon! Thank you for the kind comment, and watching!

      @@SD457500 you’re very welcome. I’m wondering if she’s now equipped with PTC seen that she was on the point of the ferry move back to Minneapolis. I’m curious.

    • @SD457500
      @SD457500  Рік тому

      @TexasRailfan21-RailfanRyan The 261 got a PTC Waiver for this move, thus why it had no cars. Rumor is that it'll get PTC sometime in the future.

    Wow! Great video. I haven’t seen the 261 in person but I have a couple of photos of sister unit 265. I have a question for you sir. I mostly take still photos when I go out railfanning. When I take video i use my phone. What kinda of camera/ tripod setup do you use?

    • @SD457500
      @SD457500  Рік тому

      I use three different camera's to get videos. My primary is my Canon G50, followed by my Mavic Air 2, and for the cab video, that was on my Samsung S22 Ultra. All of the video is shot at 60FPS. For the tripod, I use a Vanguard Tracker three series legs, and a Manfrotto fluid panhead. I hope this helps!
