- Went on a one night survival trip with @AgeofTheNorth in a snowstorm, I build my own simple shelter behind a rock wall to protect me from the wind and snow. I got completely soaked by the night but my dry sleeping bag kept me warm.

I love to travel around to see the beautiful nature, the life of places where there are rich people, poor people, but all are happy and optimistic. To anyone reading this, I pray that whatever is hurting you or whatever you are constantly stressing about will get better.
This was much more realistic than the usual guys that build five star hotels out of nothing! Good effort boys!

Camping at the beach - do only idiots
Use your boots as a wind block at your head. Keeps perspiration from turning to ice inside your boots, plus body heat will keep them plyable for putting them on on the morning. Next time put down a layer of pine boughs then the grass . Freeze you ass as heat is sucked out from you by the ground. Don't be a tourist.
Two layers beneath you is the same as one on top
A snow shovel would have saved you a load of time and calories. Two things that are very important in the cold.
You need afew boxes of klennex, trash bags, vaseoline, coffee, tea, beer, and sodas and some delicious food, sleeping gear and a BLAZING HOT FIRE!!!!
Not my type of camping.I can see he was not comfortable in this tarp camping setting..
My country is very hot. I want to see weather like this. 😀
Once you do experience this weather you will never want to see snow again.

But at least it is accurate.
I have NO concept of this level of cold or elements. You are BAD ASSES!!!
I would have to build a cabin with high quality amenities and then I would CLAMP IT
It's amazing how being under a thin tarp makes such a difference.
In those conditions he had no real protection from the cold or wind. There were better ways to do the tarp.

Being cold and wet doesn't make you sick. That is what viruses do. Now if he already had an active virus in his body at the time that hadn't yet become symptomatic, being cold and wet could affect his immune system to allow for the virus to rapidly proliferate, resulting in him becoming symptomatic.
