I used to fly stand by on the holidays a lot, it was stressful but my ex-boyfriend's pilot dad was super good at helping us out and getting us through it. I'd say more times than not though it was very pleasant. A few first class upgrades including once for my mom so I loved it!
Amsterdam is my favorite city in Europe! Stroopwafels are pronounced with a long O ( like Strope…wafels). What a challenge to travel non-rev! My mother worked for AA when I was growing up and hoo-boy that was an experience. I suggest Dublin or Edinburgh next.

Im new to your channel via Kat. I love how all of you in the industry seem to take care of each other. Thats good for the customer too. The job is hard and you deserve the perks of sitting together and other amenities. It makes for a happier healthier flight attendant.

Lol the mayonnaise. I am German born, and remember my friend who traveled to Germany said he got a "look" from the cashier when he asked for another ketchup. They don't waste the way we do here (US) where they give you 20 ketchup packets that go in the garbage. Something to think about, right? Enjoyed your vlog.

I know you have been in London a couple of times. Do you know that London has the famous black cab taxi? Some of them are tour guides so you can actually go on a tour and experience the history of London. There are Mark Monroe channel who is speaking about secrets of London,

Hi Ale, love watching you and Kat. I watched her video too. My parents were born in the Netherlands, and then immigrated to Canada in the early 50's. I loved watching this and re-absorbing the culture. I have not been there for 45 yrs. Life happens and time passes.
I really want to see the Ann Frank house. I first read the book when I was about 8 yrs old, and several times since.
The length of time you and Kat take to travel, to basically be there one day....wow, where do you get the energy. Being in the Toronto area, we would be so much closer.
I would want you and Kat to continue to go to Europe, but so much travel time! I feel bad for you. Maybe do some trips in South America, so you are both not travelling so long. I know you come from S. America, but I do not think the average person knows a lot about that area. Definitely not Canadians. I leave it to you and Kat. Yes I sometimes roast potato pieces in the oven and dip in mayonnaise now. But ketchup is still the best.

Do you ever have an issue with your roller bag flying standby?
Maybe it’s a thing that fight and it too but I would not take a 10 or more hour flight there and back to spend less than 24 hours in another country. I would’ve easily spent a day or two.
