You have such a fantabulous demeanor, really a great lesson into itself. You seem to have fun sharing this stuff with people. Impressive sir, thank you
I feel like I've learned more from a few of your videos than I have in the 25 years I've been playing. Thank you so much for this channel and your wonderful instruction.
oh man... if that amp is a nod to the blues player by the same name, the Little Walter made my day. This lesson is so important. Thank you so much for the great info, excellent teaching style, and just for being awesome. The online guitar community amazes me. Be well, and keep on making that Tele sing! cheers
Absolutely incredible! Breakthrough for sure Brian! Wow! I’ve been playing guitar for 55 years and playing lead was always a scary concept until today. You have unlocked a mystery that has suddenly changed my lead playing forever. This has changed the way I see playing lead notes. I am so grateful for your great teaching technique! God bless you Brian!
Thank you for all you are doing for us. Started playing at 40 four years ago .. and now I can't believe that I can play a complete piece of music because of you.. let alone I totally understand what I play.. Really can't thank you enough.
Once again Brian...another winner. I really don't know how you can produce these every week like you do...I do hope you take a holiday once in a while :) Love being a member of your site..it's the best one I've found, and I've tried many. Might be my age..I stated a few years ago after retiring at 68. Your descriptions are perfect for learning. Keep well and thx again.
Another Excellent lesson Brian !! Glad I am a member😀👍👏👏🎸🎸 You are Down to Earth, Eager to teach Frustrated players like me to have some hopes again and to pick up that guitar and play😊 How nice and wonderful of you and as many have pointed out, I have been following you for many years now and week after week you make us happy 😊 You have always been and continue to be a great teacher ... please do keep it up and continue forever !! Stay Safe and waiting for more and more Sooper lessons wherein we will also be able to play our own music on the guitar 🎸
Thanks Brian just love that easy country you just kill me with it yea you are a great fellow i be playing texmex for over seven years but I'm in love with country easy country thanks again.
I think I have said this 10 times on UA-cam or FB Brian has such a great method. Slowly over time you learn by osmosis. He does not cram anything down your throat he throws scales theory chord shapes playing melodically at you all within these clever tracks he creates and little by little you learn more and more but it happens naturally and without it being drudgery or feeling forced. It does take time and some commitment and this does preclude you from learning from other sources as well but over time Brian will make you better. I love being a premium member
I agree 1000000%. I have looked at dozens of teachers on here over the years and Brian is the best by far ( for my needs anyway). 50 years of noodling and at last I seen the light.
This is helpful, useful stuff. Finding an understandable way to create an inventory of notes or a "pallet" to work with, as you describe, when you are trying to improvise, is a tough challenge for some of us. This goes a loooong way towards helping to establish and apply that inventory. Glad I am a member! Thank you for this lesson.
Favorite lesson I’ve had in a while. You do such a good job at showing how to put this stuff into use and make it your own. I’ve had a few lightbulb moments with your stuff and this is definitely one of them! Thank you so much.
I love that clean tone. I'd love to see it make a comeback. Van Halen proved you could use it on a modern song, when they used a clean fender tone on the song "Finish What Ya Started".
Hi....Brian.... even if i dont learn anything from your videos......its so nice to see you every week with a new lesson and so soothing to hear you and ofcourse your beautiful music................ Super
I love to play melody. When I play guitar that’s what I desire to do is pick out the melody of songs as if my fingers are singing the words. Especially old hank Williams song. They make fantastic melody instrumentals
On or around 15:40, I believe the bending note is the 4th note of the scale bended up to the 5th, which in this case is G to A. The next bend was a F# to G, which is the (major) 3rd to 4th note of the scale. Does that sound right?
Lately you've made me want to come back so much. I've missed these great lessons that were within reach. You Rock and I Love you man! Stay Well! (Great lesson by the way. Quite relaxing.)
Nice Lesson. Beautiful playing. There is a 13th chord hidden in the A7...almost..I had been playing it since 72..I didn't even know what a 13th was till 15 years ago. I was playing bar chord G7 3rd fret and playing rockabilly style..moving pinky back and forth on B string frets 5 and 6. I noticed I was playing the flat 7 (F) of the G chord. Then the E. The 6. 6 and 7 is 13. That's not a major 7..only works with a flat 7. Again easy 13th chord.
awesome. Reminiscent of the slow country lead video but better. Combining the cord arpeggio with the corresponding scale creates just the right amount of tension and interest. The 3/4 timing really works well here. But the biggest take away, viewer get the knowledge and ingredients to making their own master peiece based on the wisdom shared here. Do you still have your 63 reissue? Well done, Brian. Thank you.
LOL.. THESE DUDES ARE SO VERY EFFICIENT OF TELLING THE STUDENT LOTS OF WORDS WITH VERY LITTLE INSTRUCTION ..... Fast examples ! Fast words ! OH YOU MEAN YOUR A BEGINNER ? Money can Change that !
Burnley, just curious is all. Nothing more. Why in the world would you take the time to leave the comment you made?? If country is not your thing --- then it's not your thing. No big deal. You know Brian is diversified in his catalog of teachings. No need to let it be known you don't like one particular lesson of his.
Country would be a good place for a beginner to start. We all vary in our abilities. You have to crawl before you can walk. Tommy Emmanuel says that he plays about 8 hours a day. There's a video of him playing a lead on Rollin in My Sweet Baby's Arms with other country musicians. Good enough for him; good enough for me!
@@stevedouglas7375 look in the comments below his virtuoso performances... A lot of people get the idea that they'll throw their guitar away! lol I'm a subscriber and you should be if you're not. Listened to Imagine today and really, any damn song he plays just blows you away. No words...
There's a special sweet spot in heaven for guitar teachers.

You are my favorite teacher! Thanks for all of us that are trying to break out of beginning/intermediate guitar.
so many moments of realisation during this lesson that kept me smiling! Have a good weekend!
My favourite kind of country music, sad!👍🎸🇨🇦

Nice Brian. Really pure. Makes me smile. As does your generosity and consistency.
Great teacher,so passionate about his teaching.
Excellent lesson. After years of playing I’m starting to connect scales and arpeggios. Great teaching. Thank you!,
Excellent, you've explained a lot, I'll get a lot of use out of this lesson.

Suweet! The pedal steel guitar in my head is crying!
This is so amazing. Thank you for teaching this way. This made so much more sense to me than a lot of other tutorials I've seen.
Must say that you have improved so much as a Player and a Teacher.

Wow
Thanks, can you do an melodic guitar melody on when a man loves a woman by percy sledge or Michael Bolton
Listen to Arlen Roth. He kills it just guitar no singing 😍

Very nice, Willie Nelson ish.
Two string trees? Is that a personal modification?
Light bulb😮
hot damn the butterscotch tele is just so sexy.

THANKS BRIAN GREATEST SOUNDS
Love ya Brian you’re the best but this is way over my head plus I don’t care for this kind of music.
9:52 "The major scale is Do Re Mi Fa So La Si Do".
Huh? Aren' t we speaking english here?
Do re mi fa so la TI do is an internationally recognised and used way of denoting the major scale. Nothing to do with the English language.
As a subsciber please call the Key earlier and even call the key while your playing
Dont make us guess
Key of D / 1/4/5 major etc
Way to much. Complicated a simple thing
I'd have listened to the whole of this if it wasn't for that god-awful song.
??
it’s a lesson, not a song - maybe that was the problem. you didn’t know the difference? lol
@@activemelody May be it was just ghastly noises, rather than a lesson, and you couldn't tell the difference.
Curious Uranus bless your heart
Did your mom name you 😜
Great lesson
