If you are buying for women, (or men that would appreciate it) wrap gift in a scarf with a bow, zero waste wrapping and the scarf is part of the gift. Win-win!
My mom was a teacher for 35 years. She has a massive collection of mugs and “best teacher” ornaments (baubles?). I think American class sizes are similar. I work at a museum and when we do field trips we plan for 25 students in an elementary (primary) class on average. Up to 35 for upper grades though.
for Ethan's class, try and get a roster of his classmates. Get a label sticker set that you can put through the printer. If you put the classmates names on a list and print them out on the labels, Ethan can just peel and stick his classmates names on each card. You can also save this list for other things like Valentines day. I used to do this with my girls and it was a life saver.
When I worked in the school I ended up with 23 boxes of chocolates 15 bottles of wine and 17 boxes of chocolates 😂 very grateful for them all and safe to say my diet was well and truly off track s 😂 my friend fills a party cone with hot chocolate mini marshmallows and chocolate buttons then sticks eyes and a big red circle on it for the nose and uses pipe cleaners for antlers very cute and comes in about 2 pound each max ☺
I always give the teachers gifts too. This year they have a best teacher tree Dec, wine charms, a pen & a chocolate, I've put it in little reindeer string bags they look cute. Xx
Great video! I do mugs for the teacher gifts as well - always put in a Galaxy hot chocolate sachet, packet of marshmallows, little shortbread biscuits, and some chocolates. After watching this video I ran to Poundland because you’ve also inspired me to put in a rose gold 2020 planner and a rose gold zebra pen. Got the little gift bags and class Xmas cards too 😂
I really love the idea of teacher gifts! Kind of wish I had done those when I was little and in school. We used to come together as a whole class at the end of each grade to thank our teachers, but this little gift around Christmas is just lovely!
Thanks for the wishes for the first of Dezember.. I am myself are a little bit tired because I have a newborn home and two older children, so I am not in a Christmas mood jet but I'll get there... Lots of love from Germany ❤️🎄🎅
Happy 1st Dec! I’m 45 and bought myself 2 advent calenders, a galaxy one and a candle one from home Bargins which has got my favourite gingerbread one in 😂🎄🎅🏻
I would LOVE a Christmas house tour. I’m in America and I always wait until after Thanksgiving to get in the Christmas spirit. I just decorated this weekend and am just now putting up the tree today!
This is fab. Making me want to go to poundland! I agree that cellophane can look fab and that's what I'm doing with some of mine this year. You can buy biodegradable cellophane luckily! All my bathroom products I buy are solid and wrapped in this too. The rest will be wrapped in brown paper with string and dried oranges! ❤❤❤
My mother still puts up the ceiling decorations that you said were in, in like the 80s. I'm 22 (23 on Christmas Eve) and she's had them since before I was born. We all make fun of her but if she got rid of them it wouldn't be the same! 🎄💛
a nice sachet of hot chocolate mix, a little pack of marshmallows, a candy cane, and a coffee spoon would be nice to pop in those mugs too for a small gift
I grew up with garlands everywhere and was born in the 90s, my dad still puts them up now. My son is nursery age so I'm not side whether or jot to do teacher presents, I love your idea though
I’m in Devon, my kids go to a little village school and have max 13 kids per class. Makes buying cards alot cheaper 🤣 great video. Off to Poundland today xx
Yes organising video please, what about a video trying to get organised and all loose ends tied up before the new year. We all want to get our S#*t together ready for new year fresh start x
I always used to get my primary school teachers Christmas presents and my tutors when I was in secondary school because I just wanted to be nice even though people looked at me like I was mad for it. I have the lego harry potter advent calendar thanks to my mum and the malteser reindeer one that I bought myself
Transpack.co.uk does compostable bags, might be the right size for your teacher mugs 😊also, your candles are called votive candles in Canada. Not sure about England
Which is your side of the bed? How do you manage with just ONE bedside table? Those gift bags with 'joy' on look more expensive than £1. I want to buy some. How is running going? What else do you enjoy doing in your spare time? X
If you are buying for women, (or men that would appreciate it) wrap gift in a scarf with a bow, zero waste wrapping and the scarf is part of the gift. Win-win!
It is definitely NOT too late for a Christmas house tour! Would love to see that x
I'm all for giving teacher gifts. They truly work so hard for our kids. Love gift ideas🌹

Big yes to everything organization, Christmas organization, New Year organization, give me all organization! :D
you could do the clear wrap idea with a scarf (the big ones you fold) which would save plastic and you get a scarf in the gift too :) xx
Don't forget Ethan's beaver leader as they are volunteers not paid like teaching staff .
Your poundland is so much better than mine it’s unreal lmao
This video is just what I need with a little girl in her first nursery ! X

Lovely ideas Emma, this has definitely helped me with what to get my daughter’s teachers
Our school asks not to send in teacher gifts and instead they have a massive box in the school reception to donate to a local charity
My Nan used to have them garlands when I was little all around her house 😊❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

My friend is currently training to be a teacher, one of her classes this week had 50 kids! I live in the UK (near Birmingham) by the way x
Love the Teacher gifts. Thought is the candle smell over power the chocolate? Hate for that to leak into the chocolates
