Peter, thank you so much for your beautiful doily patterns. Your videos are outstanding, and listening to your voice is so relaxing ❤️ This is the 2nd doily I’ve made of yours, which I completed February 2024, just in time for Valentine’s Day❤️ I used DMC Petra #5 crochet cotton with a 2.5 mm steel crochet hook. Blocked and starched, mine came out to be 17-inches in diameter. I used pink as the main color, with rounds 12 - 17 in a light orange, and back to pink for 18 - 23. I’m planning on mounting it on black velvet. Your crochet artistry and videos are some of, if not, the very best available. I look forward to all your videos Peter, and will continue to make more of your doilies. Love from NYC ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful doily Peter. I wish you would design a long narrow table runner like 90 inches by 18 inches. I think I've made all your designs - well I may be mistaken, but I 've made many of your designs. Thank you for sharing your talent with all.
Peter made this doily with KORAL brand mercerized cotton crochet thread, Size #15. This is a very thin thread if this brand corresponds to U.S. sizes. By comparison, the most popular Aunt Lydia’s cotton crochet thread is size #10. The hook used is a 1.25 mm steel crochet hook. Peter’s finished doily measures 12-inches or 31-centimeters in diameter. I made mine with DMC Petra #5 crochet cotton thread with a 2.5 mm steel crochet hook. My finished doily, blocked and starched, is 17-inches in diameter or 43-centimeters. Hope this helps❤️
