Hi Dr, I'm a vet student from Malaysia. For my clinical examination, I got a question about emergency cases, and I used everything I learned from your lecture, and the examiner was happy with my answer. Thank you Dr for your free teaching here, and may God bless your kind heart. Keep teaching and inspiring others, Dr ♥️♥️

This is my favorite lecture from this series and you have my utmost respect as a doctor. Your experience with the cat moved me to tears. I will use my knowledge and skills to the best and save as much patients as I can. Thank you so much for your effort.
If it isn't a problem, I was hoping if you could provide information on contraindication of hypotonic fluids during cerebral edema in veterinary care

First of all, I am very grateful to you for this compliment. You made my day, maybe week. Thanks a lot.
Answering to your question, hypotonic solutions cause water to move from intravascular space to cerebral tissue resulting in more cerebral fluid and increase in ICP. On the other hand, if you use hypertonic solution like mannitol, the water will move from tissue to intravascular space. Thereby reducing ICP.

      Regarding inotropic and chronotropic drugs:
Inotropic drug- Act on cardiac muscles and alter heart contraction (either increase or decrease). Used in case of hypertension
Chronotropic drugs- these drugs alter heart beats. Used during tracycardia or bradycardia
If I am missing anything, please add to it.
Your lecture are very informative and useful in field. Thank you so much for this initiative ❤️.
