I believe that mesfin hagos will never share us. It seems he is hiding a secret he never say a word, just like a kid “I wish Isaias will die”. I don’t believe what he said. This is personal perception!
The translation to Tigrina should be done sooner rather than later. Mesfin doesn't have to necesserily do the translation himself. It can easily be outsourced to professional translators and done quickly which can then be proof read by him and others for completeness.

Even though I dont share your pollitical views,I just want to add one thing,if this book belong tobthe Erirean struggale it would help if it was written on Tigringa.Finally,the narrator had to write it himself then translate it into English not the other way around.

Dear Samuel , I can't wait to read the book and opine my views. So far , in this immediate interview , he reluctantly mentioned a statement " Men Kemzigebero RuduE'yu " refering to the the ugly and unfortunate incident of those who were executed under the pretext of "Yemin"/ MenkaE. Can he bravely tell the Eritrean Public who did it? Mesfin Hagos prefers to speak in parable through out his diaspora interviews and unlikely, that is the main point that he lost credibility to all his interviews all along.

No matter when and what the circumstances were ,its a crime to kill a human being. The perpetrators should face the law and justice should prevail. Mesfin is saying those people (someone's children, husband/wife, brothers and sisters) ,some how, were there at a time then evaporate like a thin air 😢 my thought is ..the enemy does come from far.

One question to former tegadalay Mesfin is, how can he renegade to the people of Eritrea by making a compromise with weyane and assuming they will help him march to Asmara to be the leader of the nation. Can he bravely tell the Eritrean Public who did it?

I don’t see any problem if Eritrean history history in English, French or other languages. If you’re thinking only locally you shouldn’t suggest it to be only in Tigrena, how about Arabic, Tigeigna and if possible other local languages. Not mixing some English words in Tigrena language interview doesn’t help to make the interview to be organic.
The intellectual reformists who were given a bouges name by Nizghe Kiflu is not ሜንካዕ but መንካዕ :: I respect you and your effort to invite guests to educate us , however I see the need of huge practice in preparing your question and doing some research about the topic and the person.
Finally I would to remind you one of the task of interviewer is to challenge their guests and to make a follow up question.
This problem or basic lack of journalism ( frankly speaking more interviewer than journalists)is not only you but on most of Eritrean channels.
As we are in developed world there are so many tools help us to improve our knowledge.
As for Ato Mesfin I would to remember and challenge him to write everything he knows not what he would like to tell because it’s the history of all Eritrean and Eritrea.
The history of Eritrea belongs to Eritreans . No body has more or less ownership of the history. Either tell it the way it was and the way it is . If not it’s disservice the country history and the people.

Nothing shameful than working with eritrean enemies, musfin
No matter when and what the circumstances were ,its a crime to kill a human being. The perpetrators should face the law and justice should prevail. Mesfin is saying those people (someone's children, husband/wife, brothers and sisters) ,some how, were there at a time then evaporate like a thin air 😢 my thought is ..the enemy does come from far.
It's an appreciable interview and I would like to thank him for his book contributions as well as his service to the people and nation of Eritrea.

One question to former tegadalay Mesfin is, how can he renegade to the people of Eritrea by making a compromise with weyane and assuming they will help him march to Asmara to be the leader of the nation. How can SHOULD that thinking goes thru his vein after being a hero and serving the struggle. His assumption with the leaders is different but to renegade his people is something he will die with his conscious. Why he wrote the book in english is simple, so the likes of Awet are thinking to win the young generation but this is only a dream

I wish him the best but still I expected him to write all details including his mistakes . I believe in his 30 years leading there were up and downs.
The second one is , even after independence there are a lot Eritrean disappeared while he was in position. I am sure he knows about those victimized Eritrean .
So as a reader I want to learn and know what is the detail truth! Not only what he wants to tell me .
He only wanted to tell what makes him look a hero. After all history favours those who narrates it. Nothing better to expect from such devils that murder their comrades for their opinion.
