Hi. I wanna ask that for M Phil in Clinical Psychology it is important to have both Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Clinical Psychology or if by change I didn't get BA(hons.) Psychology in DU or another university as it is through CUET and pursued another Bachelors and after that I done Masters in Clincal Psychology than can I eligible for M Phil in Clincal Psychology? As now it's all coming to daily routine and almost all companies and organization's ended up work from home condition.... So thinking of distance education from ignou... If u could find some solution... Plz share

Which campus offer MA Clinical Psychology or is applied psychology or clinical psychology is same?
No, they both aren't the same. Clinical can be a part of Applied though. And even though she said that only south campus offers specialization in second year in clinical, and Organizational Psych, I talked to a senior who is currently in her first semester of MA in Psych from north campus, and she said that even North offers specialization in second year in both these fields

No
Is there any difference between ma psychology and msc psychology?
Yes, there is and there is none at the same time. Maybe uni offers MSc but the structure is the same, though it doesn't affect at all in the future if you opt for MSc or MA if you are planning to do MPhil. The difference is one is science degree while the other is arts degree. But there are some benefits if in future you want to go for scientific research in Psychology, surely you get an edge and more theoretical and scientific approach it gets than the liberal one.
But if you are planning for just Clinical Psychologist or Organisational, all of them mostly works fine with any of them. But a scientific degree is more apt with Doctorate, that's all. Just a fancy difference. But to have Msc you need a BSc. If you have a background with some other subject only choice you have is to get a MA.
if someone has completed their undergrad in du but with English hons. will they still get the merit advantage??

Please could you clarify, this year I am starting my MA in Psychology from IGNOU, and I have a job on the other side, after a year I have no idea if I am going to continue with IGNOU, so probably I may switch to regular MA from Du or another regular university? Is it a viable way and is it possible to continue even both the courses, is MA in PSychology from IGNOU a correspondence course, and can I do the degrees parallel. I have to take a break for a year as I need to raise enough funds for my studies meanwhile trying to keep up with my education to not lose sight or touch. Thank you.

@@shaliniverma2621 for now, no. I haven't. But surely I'll do let you know. Everything is quite dangling, right now. And I am not sure what exactly you are referring to as I wrote quite a few things over there. Do you also have the same exact situation? Albeit, I'll let you know however it turns out to be in a few months.
@@DevdootPsych Yes, Dev, it's totally worth it but also depends largely on why you want to pursue it. If you are asking about is it viable to do it from IGNOU, then surely there is no difference other than the obvious. UGC certified it is, you are eligible for NET or MPhil, it's worth it. But if you are asking is MA in Psychology worth it, then it's a very diverse question and depends wholly on why you want to do it?

Since my profession draws heavily from Psychology/applied psychology discipline, I may like to have a formal education (which I lack as I am an MBA) to grasp in depth and breadth.
