i think it has something to do with the fairy berylune's magic diamond from the play 'blue bird' in the story she used it to turn the dog and other objects into humans bc the diamond reflected their true soul selves or sumn idk i only read a summary of the story so this might be a stretch im kind of delusional when it comes to switch
