I later understood the importance of building with someone and having the security of a healthy relationship that both people are fully invested in mind, body, soul, and financially. Of course the idea seems wonderful in the early years of the marriage but you see too many women that live this lifestyle that regret it years later because they feel empty and have little to no purpose especially once they become empty nesters. Not to mention, the lack of respect they receive or attention they crave because hubby is busy making money which typically leads to extra curriculum activities (ie infidelity, mistreatment, etc). Finding a balance of a being a mom, a wife, a supporter, and contributor is far more satisfying than just living a soft life especially when you have dignity and self love.
