I like this kind of music while playing deus ex in the hardest mode without any hud help and no mini map, you die in two shots and when you're running for your life looking for an air vent this kind of music fits well 😂
i love metal (and like early hardcore and early hardstyle) but for some reason i never like the type of synthwave that's loud n fast like this. most of those trax are very much alike and i always call it headachewave . altho there are very few exceptions that i do like (but ofcourse they sound very diffferent than this dance with the dead stuff)
Portraits is the best on here imo :) Gives a sense of urgency, something dark coming towards you but at the same time something pure of light comes in front to protect you.
The composers of those games hate synthwave. There's apparently some Perturbator songs that got put in, but they were never released on the OST. My guess is that it wasn't the composers who commissioned him for those songs.

It's hard to judge between Out Of Body and B sides. I think B sides takes the cake. Loved to death is also one of their best works and imo very different album which reminds of more of horror and dark synthwave. Very good album

Okay now we're fucking talking, you can never go wrong with some DWTD! Track 3 and onwards are just killer. Not sure if it beats the B-Sides (which contrary to what you'd expect contains many of their best tracks) which is just legendary but so far this album is great. Need some time to decide just how good it is though.
