STRANGER THAN FICTION: A murder occurs while the Norths are spending a country weekend with one of Jerry's authors.
LOL Pam was sillier and more annoying than usual, but Jerry! He was just rudely bossy and physical in this one, holding her down with his hand over her mouth, really! LOL
This was an unusually good story and I loved it as always. Thank you.

The guy who pretended to be the writer looked quite a bit like Kirk Douglas.
I'm pretty sure Sarge Stewart is played by Ric Roman, who played lots of bad guys in westerns and cop shows in the 50's & 60's. He doesn't get an on screen or IMDB credit for it. The wife, Mrs. Kovack, was played by the real life daughter-in-law of radio's Fibber McGee & Molly.

Boy these show were bad...I use to watch them as a kid back in the early 1950's...I still like watching them knowing how bad they are..
Dear Jack Val, I so agree!!! So bad they're almost good. Good for laughs. My husband and I are working our way through them. We enjoy stopping the action and complaining and critiquing and guessing who dunnit. . Lots of fun. We saw these in our youth. We're in our 70's.
I'm also in my 70's..Loved watching as a kid, and still do..But, boy are they bad..

It's hard to do a mystery show in a half hour. These always seemed so rushed. A cop/crime show like Dragnet you can do in a half hour, but not a mystery like these. Yet on radio it worked, but not TV. I'll have to look at some of the TV "Thin Man" episodes to see if they're any better.
It was cute, but Barbara is to annoying to tolerate every episode.(ls)

No way. She's the main reason to watch the show! Fun character.
it's all ways murder. yea i said murder humm. nothing but. shes the super snoop . detective as if amateur for sure. Mr north doesn't snoop not a bit. Mr's north fighting hard. an dang if this fire ant hot.
