Oh btw if you were wondering, ASMR (or асмр in Russian, for SEO :P) is a tingly feeling people get from sounds and visual stimuli (for example whispering, tapping or hand movements), these tingles are very relaxing :) however, even for those who don't experience ASMR the videos often still help them sleep and battle insomnia, like ASMR does for me. Yay the flag saga continues! I'm honestly pretty bad at recognizing flags, and think I failed almost all your minimum expectations during this lol, but I still think it's fun to learn about them, and I think ASMR is always more enjoyable when people talk about things they like.
Honestly the flags were pretty tricky overall, I think my expectations only apply to people who are already decent with flags :P
I've never seen anywhere else a flag quiz in which the flags are described and I can close my eyes, but it's genius and I liked it a lot. Thank you! I would love to see other similar videos :)

Liberia was founded by former African slaves who came from the US. They were in a way americanized. Makes sense the flags being similar. Liberia, the word, has a root from Latin meaning “free”.

The history isn't as wholesome as that unfortunately. It was mostly funded and set up by racists, known as the american colonization society, who, now that africans were no longer slaves, didn't want them in the country anymore, and hence wanted to kick them out back to africa, which became liberia

Well, it's nice that we get to see you again. It's been far too long! And funnily enough, your videos always come when I don't expect them at all. So it's always a surprise, which of course makes me very happy. 🥰 And of course it's especially nice to not only hear but also see you in the third part of your flag series. The idea of organizing a quiz with flag playing cards this time, in which we as viewers have to guess which country the flag shown belongs to, is great. I'm going to fail miserably, I already know that, hahaha! 😅 It's just a shame that we'll have to do without your flag-painting skills. But I think it's much easier this way than drawing the right flag for a country, isn't it?
By the way, the chirping of the birds 🐦🎶 right at the beginning when you say your usual intro is also a wonderful coincidence to listen to. It's as if they're applauding 👏 you for finally starting the video, hahaha! 😄
I really love your whispering voice, but your soft spoken voice is also always very relaxing. I find it pleasantly deep and clear and it resonates with something that makes my ears vibrate and warm after a while and gives me a lot of peace. 😌
The whole video is super relaxing for me. And the way you describe the flags took me back a bit to my own school days. In English class we did picture descriptions all the time, but not with flag playing cards. 😂
I thought it was pretty funny when you were looking for the English word for the little curved piece of moon at 20:37 in the Maldives flag. When you said the Dutch version "sikkel", my thought was, yes, of course, that's exactly what it means. We also say "Sichel" or "Mondsichel" in German. We pronounce it softer in the middle than you do, but otherwise it's very similar. How sobering that the piece of moon we are looking for is called "crescent moon" in English. After all, the sickle is actually a tool for cutting grass. In any case, the German "Sichel" is an ambiguous word. 😆
Thanks also for the tip about the SRP ASMR channel. That sounds quite exciting. By the way, a few days ago the channel WelshASMR82_Maps organized a very similar flag quiz, which was also very relaxing. So if you are interested in this as a flag connoisseur, this is a tip from me to you. ☺
By the way, the only flags I guessed correctly were Turkey, China and Ireland. I hope you'll forgive me anyway. 😉

I’ve done flag quizzes way to many times I think I’m gonna get all of these really easy 😂
i failed the test only because i passed out after the first round 🥺 glad to see you again! ☺️
So I got 2 in the first section, 4 in the second section, and 4 in the third section. What's interesting to me is that whenever I didn't know for sure which country a flag belongs to, I still knew some general information about the country, like roughly where on the map it was or something like that, like "this one is an island country in the south Pacific" or "this one is in Africa". Fun.
Yeah it's funny how many flags have the vibe of their surrounding countries with their colors and shapes etc
My grandma was Dutch and she was my first involuntary asmrtist! Not that you remind me of her physically speaking hahaha! Much less now that you matured and have a beard to accompany your master's degree heh heh! Your hand movements triggers and light triggers as well as the mouth sounds are the ones of a pro, super tingly. And your tranquil, calm prosody, intonation of speaking is very soothing. It also gives me tingles as well as inducing sleep after it. 👍🏻✌🏻🤘🏻🇧🇷
20:37 I love that country! As for the moon, English-speakers would call that a waning crescent (🌘), contrary to a waxing crescent (🌒) or a gibbous (🌔/🌖)

being from britain I hadnt heard of the flag of the republic of ireland being referred to as just the flag of ireland, seeing as its not officially recognised by northern ireland. interesting to see how the rest of the world thinks about it, I guess when you havent got 2 irelands on your doorstep you dont often have to think about distinguishing them

Love the ASMR aspect of the video (as always ObviouslyASMR’s soft spoken voice is very relaxing), but just watched along with the game, since as a product of the public school system of the United States, my knowledge of the flags of the nations of the world is pathetic
