    Don't forget to like the video to help me out! Subscribing is useful if you want to see more as well!

    NOTE on this Episode: This took me about 5 times longer than I expected, but the result was very... satisfactory ;)

    "When I played for the first time, on version 0.3, I used a bus like that, with floors and a staircase. Now, with vertical belts, I prefer to use a staircase. After that, I realized that I could stack belts on top of each other, so I added six levels and, 3 blocks behind, I added another six. I did this in Victor. Now, I'm going to try to separate things, using each level of the elevator for different purposes, like connecting foundries to smelters, and so on.

      Nice one! I also considered going for the 'blocky' bus with some space between levels, but found this more aesthetically pleasing. That said, your version is a bit more space efficient and easier to use in areas that aren't quite as tall!
      Options, options, options :)

    I love watching how you put everything together! Do you think you could do a build like this for a more beginner to the game with the lower tier stuff? I'm going to try and use what you showed here and make my own, but I'm curious how you would approach it (I don't have access to the blast stuff yet).

      You don't really need the blast stuff! All you need is a LOT of belts, plenty of floors, and you can get going!

      @TheDutchActuary I actually just realized you put out a beginner video for the first few levels, your videos are always so informative and helpful! Love this bus and mall idea though, looks amazing

    Is there any reason that you don't do the main lines directly on top instead of as stairs ? Cheers for the video , very informative, and no mucking around

      Easier to navigate, but most importantly it makes both the bus but *especially* the lifts look a LOT cleaner.

    Oy vey, shades of a glass-faced arcology in that bus. Yes, I know it’s open instead of sheathed in glass. Still!
    A nice machine-filled valley between the two of them.

    Would be good if some kind of time scale was mentioned as in how long it took to make this and how many hours it took to get here. Just a thought but a great vid none the less

      This particular build took me somewhere between 5-8 hours I believe. It's a bit hard to really give an accurate estimate, because part of it was spent on recording and honestly, overthinking some elements :P

    How many ports are you using per item, to unload items from the elevator?

    • @TheDutchActuary
      @TheDutchActuary  День тому

      For now, about 2-4 depending on how many items I need. Once you get the filter stacker inserters online, you can pretty much just have 1 port / belt.

    Look forward to seeing you do all of the products on a bus.. I want to love this gane but sons of the ingredients are just obtuse and have many parts and now the mono rails are pointless.. the ingredients need alot of work I think

      You definitenly don't want ALL of the products on the bus (or well, unless you don't mind the massive effort that would be lol). This is about as far as I'd take it, aside from a few more late-game additions.
