Toy Train operational in Ooty?
The train ride starts at 7.10 from Mettupalyam and ends around 12 PM in Ooty or Udagamandalam.
from March 29, 2024, the train will run between Coonoor and Coonoor-Ooty on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.

So the best way to enjoy the journey is book at times where crowd will be too less ususally early morning train and come back in the afternoon train. early morning ride is fun, but watch for the mist!

The Nilgiri Mountain Railway was built by the British in 1908 and operates on a narrow-gauge track, covering a distance of 46 kilometers between Mettupalayam and Ooty.
