Potato Meat casserole | Truly British Shepherd's pie

Marvellous meat casserole
Ingredients for Shepherd's pie
200 ml | 7 oz chicken broth
2 onions
1 carrot
2 tablespoons olive oil
150g | 5 oz green peas
600g | 1,3 lb minced beef or lamb
2 small gloves of garlic
2 tablespoons tomato paste
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
250 ml | 8 oz dry red wine
1 teaspoon dry thyme and rosemary leaves
1 kg | 2,2 lb potato
100g | 3,5 oz hard cheese
(the half to mashed potato and the half to the top of pie)
salt, mix of peppers to taste
