FIRST RACE BACK FROM SHOULDER SURGERY - Ironman Pro Series 70.3 Chattanooga

Miguel raced his first race after his horrible crash in January that left him with a broken collarbone, shattered scapula, and a couple fractured ribs. Ironman 70.3 Chattanooga was an utter success. He went in with no expectations and a "race to place" mindset, then landed himself with a P7 finish in the money. A pretty spectacular day just five months back from being couch-ridden for weeks.
While he raced, Jenna and Alex Leandri sprinted no less than 10 miles around the course, sweated profusely, and Jenna finished the day completely electrolyte-depleted. She has decided, just now while writing this, that Miguel's prize winnings are also going to help fund the purchase of a Camelbak backpack for the next race, so she can be just as prepared and hydrated as Alex was.
This was a fun one to race, spectate, film, edit, and relive again. Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did :)

I have watched probably alllll of your videos. You seem like you are in the best shape that I’ve ever seen and it’s showing through the way you are carrying yourself. yes feeling different for sure, because there was no competition in TN!! when Old Man Matty H takes the win, that definietely shows that SOF was about "78" give or take a digit! yeah right, racing all out? when the top finishers are backof the pack T100 participants, if it all? : ( GG mickey, get real mindset!!! a winning mindset!
