It took a while to get through the rules, but the reference cards are tremendously helpful. And if you go too slow you'll forget where to return to as several rules can be implemented coming from different locations. Such as enemy actions. And simply explaining the rules would have left you scratching your head. So I went the demonstration route instead (even though it took longer), it should be more interesting.
Thanks for doing this video! It's helping me get into the game. I'm going to watch your other videos on this game as well. But, thanks again for doing this.
Thanks for the compliment. I thought later that I should have put a "fake" war column up at the end to walk through. But I didn't think about it until I was uploading the video.
I have played it thrice but haven't won it. I don't have experience with GMT solo games so, considering that you' ve lost that many times, I am way too off from my first victory.
I haven't logged my plays but I'm pretty sure I've lost the "easy" scenario 10+ times. Most of the times to a Culture token. So I've gone to watching it more closely and making sure I control territory 1 faster and getting the second rancheria down so that when I do a culture action I get 3 points out of it. I may be getting a "How to win at Comancheria" video created. It hasn't happened yet, but thought I'd start the rumor.
haha. I have set a challenge. To win the game on the hardest difficulty till the end of the year. I like it so much that I am inclined to play it exclusively in order to achieve it. I feel 10 months are not enough though.
I appreciate your taking the time to do this. There's a nicely paced, conscientious approach you've taken in your presentation. Very helpful.

The thing that attracts me most from this game Is that picture in the box..... it seems
complicated....
I live close to Salina and was wondering what the story about your shirt was. Anyway, helpful video.

You're welcome. Have you played it? Do you win?

Who knows? I haven't really looked at the later development cards and era cards to see what changes to make the game harder in the later eras
Can’t you only trade with an ally or peace space?
Speaking on 19 min in. Also can you move a band through an enemy space to go after bison?
