Barbers Leap Into Action to Save Girl About to Run Into Traffic

Two quick-thinking barbers in East Hartford, Connecticut, jumped into action to save a child they noticed running in the street towards traffic on April 10.
Police said the girl escaped from her mother.
Osvaldo Lugo, one of the barbers, posted about the incident on Instagram, and described it as “a scary experience.”
East Hartford police called the barbers “heroic,” and said their actions helped avert “a potential tragedy.”
