@@LatetotheParty Oh yes, a hotel within walking distance is definitely a plus. I initially only got offered a Mission Valley hotel in the lottery this year (about a half-hour trolley ride if you count all the stops) which I turned down, but got lucky about two weeks out from the convention and managed to get a room in the Gaslamp district.
Love that Heman statue. My childhood . I am going to Indiana Comic Con next month going to meet Alan Oppenhiemer aka Skeletor. Plus been cosplaying since 2015 so excited to get to my first con this year.
Have a ton of fun. Love how Heman still has a place in pop culture like it did when I was a kid.
