Thanks for this very useful explanation about zoneless behavior. On 13:53, I think the left hand side child component runs change detection because its cd strategy is set to Default. If you try to set it to OnPush, the cd will not be running any more. I will try to do some more experiments and give some more insight on this

1) No, you'd have to call markForCheck manually in the subscription block to trigger CD and render
