- "The notion that Boeing wouldn't be able to fix this going forward is unthinkable. They just need the right people to do it."
@emirates President Tim Clark on how Boeing can bounce back from its recent safety concerns.
Sir Tim Clark seems to be eyeing retirement. I salute you!
lol the very man that treated his longstanding employees like shit durning Covid
Tim Clark knows exactly what's he's doing. He's looking at a great retirement at Boeing! Oh, I love him!! He will surely bring Boeing back to where it was before the MD takeover. I wish he was my teacher.
While I realize the difficult challenge presented by admitting to have chosen an illdesigned aircraft as one of the mainstay reliances of a major airline, passenger safety demands to phase out the 777 ASAP. This aircraft has encountered almost catastrophes repeatedly at high altitude for obvious reasons and can't be fixed by Emirates practice to operate the plane at low altitude. Moreover I expect a seasoned aviation top executive to be a bit more vocal on Airbus excellence and MADE IN GERMANY. The times of a so so WW2 alliance are long gone and unlike the US Germany has invested in the UK industrial footprint unlike few others. Dr. Joerg Strate
You are talking nonsense, 777 was the workhorse, that made emirates ,what it is today. Not the 380.
You’re either delusional or trolling
Cheers
If it wasn't a duopoly Boeing would have not been able to survive all the issues that they caused themselves to be in. Profit should not be your only goal when you are in the aviation sector, people's lives should.
Well I can see that you would not be hired as a Boeing manager!

Ticket Sales online should indicate Plane Type for consumers to be aware of safety risks at PoS
In practice,a workhorse in all types of business is the one that is big and powerful and only 777x can provide.
The 777x that is years away from certification and will likely be obsolete by the time it occurs. Airlines need something sooner than that
for Australians Jetstar is a byword for flight delays. Not a well regarded brand.
Just what I needed QMB on You Tube! Thank you Sir!😅
Let Sir Tim control Boeing for a few years. Might work. Or at least be a consultant

No one has explained to me why there are still only two aircraft manufacturers globally. Is anyone surprised why Boeing and Airbus supply chains can't keep up with demand and thus resort to cutting corners?
Simply barriers to entry. It's incredibly hard to enter that market and break the duopoly. I mean, China has been trying but failing miserably.
First you need an enormous amount of money, space , workforce ! Then you need customers! Which most companies/countries trust the duopoly more than an aviation startup! That’s why a lot of new aircraft companies make very small planes
Where was this guy when a few showers shutdown his airline and hub ? Millions of passengers were left to their own devices and suffered without food, water and basics while Tim went AWOL claiming that things were getting better . As bad as Boeing!

Just like the EV markets, this is another sector that the Chinese will dominate in 20 years time 😂
