That's not the way the mount is designed for the cable to be installed. It's made so you don't have to remove the hook. Supposed to go through the plastic pivot, not around it.

Pretty cool outfit. In our next release, I'll be pointing out some considerations in choosing between front mount vs mid mount systems...

Shouldn't the hook of the winch go in the hole? You hooked it off to the left. That cable is not centered. I just bought one a couple of weeks ago and just realised the hook won't fit in the hole.

I finished installing my plow but can't figure out where you put the j-bolt

Timber, remembering back to the install assembly on the Warn ProVantage... If there is two j-bolts it may hold the break away springs that attach from the top of the blade to the plow base. If there is only one it possibly could be for an alternative lift point. This video was assembling the plow base, the hardware that came with it is at 46 seconds. ua-cam.com/video/cN6g3atb_ag/v-deo.html

@@teddydibiase4078 yes I did and it works great. Wish I could show you a pic. Basically, I don't hook it underneath anymore. Cable goes thru the pulley frontward and up. I put a plate on my rack with a hook and i hook my cable there. I have pics.
