Omg! Congrats for getting that plush out! I remember when she was just a drawing, they grow up so fast 😭
AAW hahaha!! Thank you so much!
@@imawonder no problem girl! You keep doing you :D
You taught me how to finely handle Acrylic GOUACHE. Thank you so much.
I think the painterly jacket helps the more rendered/detailed parts be the center of interest. Love it 😍
With the paint drying out! This is for everyone who feels bad about wasting the paint: I saw a UA-camr (forgotten who) who uses Acryla Gouache, what she does is she lays out a tray, wets a paper towel, places it on the tray and THEN places a sheet of bake paper over top, the paints don’t try out! She left the house for 20 mins and the paints she left out were still wet, and if she puts too much paint out she just puts it back in the tube, game changing!!
Love this! I usually go in super hard with acryla gouache, but Ill have to try this layered technique more for a different style and outcome. Thank you for sharing!
Hearing that you struggle with hands too is so comforting hahaha
Solidarity!
That plush is so adorable!
Thank youuu!
Thank you so much for the thorough commentary in this video. 😊 I'm new to using gouache, so this was super helpful, and I love your OC. Great work!
I'm so glad!
I just love the style of Momo. She's so cute and cool and congratulations with the plushie of her!
Yaay I'm so glad, thank you!
@@imawonder You're welcome 😊

I love having your videos up while I draw! It always feels like I have an art buddy haha :) Love Momo!!
Congrats on the plushie!!
You are such an inspiration - I am actually trying acrylgouache for the first time today, excellent timing!
Thank you!! Woo have fun!
@@imawonder oh man SO much fun! They glide on the page!
This piece is awesome, I love the style!
Awww she turned out so cute!! I love all of the little details 🎀
Yaay thank you!!
Love this!!!!
The art is so beautiful Tina! ✨ You are so skilled at art and amazing!
Thank you so much 😀
Ooh. We are blessed this week. The upload is early. Thanks tina luv u
Hope you enjoyed it! ;D
I actually really like how her clothes look! I personally feel like it's not bad to have some painterly marks in clothing, because it can mimic the texture of the cloth. I think this looks so cool!
Appreciate that!! Thanks so much!
This is lovely been following for a little while now much love from South africa
Thanks so much!
That plush is so so cute!! 😍😍 omggg
I love having you keep me company while I’m at work but all I want to do is rush home and go paint every time 🤣😩 guess I’ll be working with my acryla gouache now when I get home 😅💗💗
AW haha the eternal dilemma!! Glad I can keep you company and inspired you to paint!
Thanks so much!
Congrats on Momo's plush! I really love the illustration too, it's so fun and I personally love the painterly style of the jacket 😁
Thank you so much!!
felt sad thank u for uploading i really needed thissss 🥺💛
Aww, sending you lots of good vibes!
@@imawonder omg 🥺 thank youu 💛 wish you well 💛
I love the name Momo it’s so cute!! BTW i searched it up and momo is japanese for peach
Yep! That's what I liked about the name :)
congrats on the momo plushie !!! she's adorable, momo is my fave 🥺💖🗡️ I find your videos so soothing and therapeutic that when I'm painting I can't have anyone elses videos on in the background 🥰
Awww! So happy to be able to keep you company!
Thanks so much
I love your art and find these videos so relaxing to watch 💜
I'm so glad!
I want the plush, but I don’t got enough money 🥲and congrats on the momo plush!!!🥳🥳🥳
Aw no worries!! Thanks so much!
Ok one can i just say that your makeup in this is totally serving like wow....amazing
and two CONGRATS ON MINI MOMO!!!! she's so cute 😭 I think it's really cool that they were able to incorporate her bat and cute little stickers, she has such a fun playful but bad bitch aesthetic and i'm here for it 💖 I also love seeing your gouache processes, it's so pleasing how it comes together bit by bit, and the colors you use are always so vibrant and energetic that it almost gives a pop art vibe to it?? ahhhh i loveeee~ I'm glad to see Momo is thriving with her franchise ☺
Omg so pretty
This turned out so pretty!! I love seeing you try to be more loose and painterly with your style, i think it looks super nice 🥰
I've also had a few people mix up my traditional and digital art since I scan in some stuff from my sketchbook sometimes, I've been trying to edit them a little to make it look more like irl lighting while still having the higher quality of a scanned image
Thank you so much!!
I actually love her jacket! Also I relate to what you said about trying to loosen up the way you paint, I’ve been trying to do the same but it’s very hard to, being a perfectionist hahah 😭
Thanks so much!! Ahhh it's true haha
I’ll definitely get the plush once my pay is there, which should be tomorrow. I think it would look perfect next to my Jiniret Hyunjin skzoo plush 😭✋ If they were real they would not get along at all which makes it somehow really cute to put them next to each other 😭
Ahhh omg haha they will look super cute together!!
Yessss! I don't think the painterly style of the jacket stood out too much from the rest of the painting.
I'm glad! Thank you :D
That plushy is so BA
Love the painting 💕
I actually really like how you put in those pink highlights on her shirt I thought it was such a great idea 😊
Thank you so much!!
GORGEOUS MOMOS GONNA COME HOME!
AHHH YAY!
Congrats for this creation! It looks amazing, I love the tones of pink you chose. xxoxo
Thank you so much!
I love Momo and congrats on making her into a plushie! I hope you sell so many Momos!!! I am gonna grab me one too💙✨ Also, I hope you have extras of May rewards because I really wanna get the print and sticker I missed out on🤞🏼
I'm so excited for you for the momo plush!!! also I love your barrettes, and also I thought the jacket looked nice with the rest of the painting!
Thank you so much!!
Omg I hope I can get momo in time before she is not available when is comes to those things I’m so late, but congrats, and your art of momo is so amazing ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much!!
Ahhhh the painting is so gorgeous and vibrant💕✨ and congrats on the plush!!! Momo truly is an icon of the channel (including you ofc!)🌸
Aww hehe, thank you so much!!
Your videos are so amazing as always. Good job dear friend as always ❤❤❤
Thank you so much 😀
the plushie looks great!
Thank you!!
Would've never know I needed a momo plushie until the momo plushie existed but ... Oh God I need one
Hehe
You should design some of the members of her gang!!
I love your video ❤
so maybe a video idea, a sketching session where you design outfits for momo?
Ooooh love that idea!
Have you ever thought of using acrylic mediums with water to thin your acrylic gouache? Since it is acrylic paint, it may crack on non-absorbent surfaces like wood or canvases. Have you run into this problem with any of your acrylic gouache pieces on surfaces other than paper?
I've never tried any acrylic mediums with my gouache! I've never really had any issues using just water so I never thought it try it
So far I've only used acrylic gouache on wood and canvas and have had no problems thankfully! I paint quite thin so I believe that's the main reason why I haven't had any cracking
Acrylic is actually quite flexible once dry and can be painted on wood and canvas without issue. It's traditional gouache that you have to be careful with.
@@imawonder Ah, I see. I generally go thicker as I layer even with regular gouache so I was wondering if I need to use mediums. Thank you for your reply! Your work is gorgeous 💗
@@MariaRevArt I agree with you on regular gouache.
However, I was reading on acrylic paints a while ago and most painters recommended thinning them with mediums mixed with water. They said that the paints can crack years later on a finished painting because of how water separates their pigment particles. I wonder if that applies to acrylic gouache as well.
@@minakinna Interesting. I know there are debates on mixing with water versus mediums. I do believe it depends on how much water you use though. But still interesting to know.
This is an older video so i don't know if you will see it but for you or anyone who uses acryla gouache, would you recommend it to someone even if they still don't know a lot when it comes to painting + even if they do more so landscape type of art? i've been using acrylic since highschool but i honestly don't really like it, i've tried oil and i have jelly gouache though i struggled with reactivating it a lot and its dried out now. Acryla gouache seems to have a mix of the things i like but i'm nervous since i've never used it and don't do characters because i cant draw :'(
i normally dont like human plushes...
momo is exetremely cute with that design
Do you film with your phone or camera?
I use a camera now but used to use my phone, info in the description :)
do you plan on making a comic or web series of sort for Momo?!
Haha unfortunately no plans at the moment! My attention span is too short to make a long form story but maybe some mini one page comics? I'm so happy you're interested though!
