Depends on the fin size and if there are molded in fins on your board. Either way, you can take them off and totally ride w out fins, but you have to be very accurate w your riding. Patient more than anything. As in, take your time applying your edge when you want to go in a direction. How big are your fins currently.

Should we remove any fins we have on our board? Every time I try to go into a side slide the board just wants to go forward

I’m riding on an O’Brien Valhalla so it has molded outer fins and the flank 1.35 center fins
